It is one of the "safer" Keyblades, as it has a high attack power and strength bonus, but rarely deals critical attacks, meaning that players can calculate how long a battle will take and when to use curative items or cast Cure at the most effective times, rather than hoping for a couple of critical hits from a weaker keyblade. In terms of effectiveness, it lies just slightly above the Pumpkinhead because of it's slightly longer reach and "safety".
