The Metal Chocobo is gained by defeating Cloud in the Hercules Cup in the Olympus Coliseum in Kingdom Hearts. It has one of the longest, if not the longest, reaches of all the Keyblades in the game. It is one of the "safer" Keyblades, as it has a high attack power and strength bonus, but rarely deals critical attacks, meaning that players can calculate how long a battle will take and when to use curative items or cast Cure at the most effective times, rather than hoping for a couple of critical hits from a weaker keyblade. In terms of effectiveness, it lies just slightly above the Pumpkinhead because of it's slightly longer reach and "safety".
