Thunder Roll (サンダーロール Sandā Rōru?) is a technique in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Thunder Roll is much like Dodge Roll, but allows the user to also inflict Thunder-based damage on his enemies as he contacts them. Unlike Dodge Roll, however, the user does not gain temporary invulnerability to attacks.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Thunder Roll is a Movement command that has a maximum level of 4 and fills the Command Gauge by 12% for each time it hits an enemy. When the command is leveled up, the distance traveled and damage dealt increase.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Thunder Roll is a Movement Command that can be melded through three different recipes, listed in the Action Recipe.

  • The first recipe can only be melded by Ventus, and is a type L recipe that has a 20% chance of transforming into Spark Raid when Ventus melds it.
  • The second recipe can only be melded by Ventus, and is a type L recipe that has a 20% chance of transforming into Spark Raid when Ventus melds it.
  • The Third recipe can only be melded by Ventus, and is a type P recipe that has a 20% chance of transforming into Spark Raid when Ventus melds it.
