Maelstrom (メイルストロム Meirusutoromu) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. It allows Riku to unleash a spinning attack on one enemy.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Maelstrom is a Duel Sleight that can be used by Riku. Riku rushes toward the enemy and starts a spinning attack with the Soul Eater on him, followed by an upward slash.
Learning Maelstrom
Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
- Riku can use Maelstrom after defeating Ansem for the first time.
- Riku has to win a Card Duel in which he has to break five cards of his enemy.
