Naminé offers to use her powers to put a tight lock on the darkness Riku's heart to prevent Ansem from taking over Riku again. Riku declines, wanting to take on Ansem directly, and continues his trek through the castle. DiZ appears and gives Riku and Mickey [[Black coat|black coats]] which will prevent the Organization from pursuing them and has powers to resist the darkness.
