Shell (シェル Sheru) is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. It allows the user to grant the Shell status to allies or themselves.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Shell is an enemy card effect that reduces damage from magic attacks by 50%. It costs 50 CP to add to the deck and lasts for five hits.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Shell is an Overclock ability that vastly reduces damage from magic attacks.
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Shell is an ability that halves the damage the user takes from Fire-, Blizzard-, Thunder-, and Dark-elemental attacks.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Shell is a magic command that gives one ally the Shell status for 20 seconds.
