Olympus Coliseum

Although this is an optional world, it is one of the best to train and gain EXP in, so it is recommended that you come here.

Before entering the Coliseum, there are a few Chests that you should open. One is located behind the left columns of the Coliseum's entrance, containing a Mega-Potion. Another is located near a Blue Trinity which contains a Mythril Shard, and another Blue Trinity on the other side containing Dalmatians 22, 23 and 24. Now enter the Coliseum, where you'll notice a strange looking satyr attending to something. Talk to him, and the satyr will ask Sora to move a nearby block of stone. Attempt to push it and you'll discover that it is far too heavy. Talk to the satyr again, and he'll finally look at Sora and realize his mistake.

The satyr, Philoctetes (commonly known as Phil), will then put Sora on a test involving barrels. Complete the barrel rounds within the time limit and you'll obtain Thunder. This mini-game is not very easy to complete, as some barrels are out of reach, and require precise timing to destroy.

However, Phil is not impressed with Sora's skills, forbidding him from entering the games. As you leave the building, Hades will hand Sora an Entry Pass, which will allow him to enter the games. Head back inside, and get ready for the games.

Fight your way through the rounds and in the final round, you'll find yourself fighting Cloud who's working for Hades. It doesn't matter if you lose, but it's better to win this battle if you want bonus EXP.

Avoid his attacks—he will do some stationary slide-slashes. Cloud can also fly around the arena, slashing Sora. Just Dodge Roll and block his attacks and counterattack. Use Potions to heal.

After this battle, a large three-headed dog, known as Cerberus, will appear and attack Cloud. However, another man, Hercules, will appear and fight Cerberus as the party escapes.

Though your team will be too weak at this point, to complete this world you need to defeat Cerberus. You'll have a larger chance if you have already defeated Clayton (as he rewards the player with Cure). Once you are ready, enter the arena.

Cerberus has numerous attacks. He will use fireballs and he will bite you. Make sure to utilize Cure a lot, if you have it. After you get halfway through his HP, he will use an attack in which he spits black darkness into the ground, which will sprout out underneath you. Keep Dodge Rolling during this segment of the battle. Utilize combos and Cure often.

After defeating Cerberus, Phil and Hercules will dub the party as Junior Heroes, and the Cups will be unlocked over time. You will also pass by Cloud and he'll give you Sonic Blade, a very useful ability. Head to Traverse Town now.

When you return

When you return, there is a White Trinity in the Coliseum, use it to get a Blue Chest, inside is the Violetta, a weapon for Donald. After you've done the Hercules Cup, you'll be able to use the Yellow Trinity in the Lobby to seal the World's Keyhole. And after doing the Hercules Cup, the Red Chest in the Lobby opens giving you the Olympia Keyblade. A Green Trinity in the Coliseum near the scoreboard by the World Exit will grant you a Mythril.

Leon

Leon's a lot stronger now, so watch out for his attacks. This time, apart from the occasional slashes and fireballs, Leon goes into Limit Break mode when he has less than half of his HP left. This occurs when his Gunblade becomes longer and has a blue glow to it. This attack makes him more difficult to defeat; while Leon is in Limit Break mode, his attacks become more powerful. You may use melee attacks on him while he is not in Limit Break mode, and as in the previous encounter, fend off the fireballs with Guard.

While he is in Limit Break mode, there are a few instances where he will walk (note: walk, not run) towards Sora and attack him. This is the cue for you to use Guard to fend off his attacks. When several Guards are performed successfully, Leon's Limit Break stops and he has to power up. This move may be time-consuming, but it does give you more experience every time you deflect Leon's attacks.

When Leon runs towards Sora and plunges the Gunblade into the ground, it is best to attack Leon from the back. Continue doing so until Leon's HP is depleted. As in the previous encounter, do not be shy about using the Keyblade, because Leon can now heal when his HP is running out. Do also remember to heal when necessary.

Yuffie

Yuffie's normal attacks include throwing her shuriken towards Sora - dodging it will be futile, because the shuriken follows Sora wherever he goes. Instead, lock on to Yuffie and deflect her attacks with Guard and Counterguard. If the shuriken is successfully deflected, Sora will gain more experience. Also, if the deflected shuriken hits Yuffie, it will stun her for a while - take this opportunity to hit her with the Keyblade as many times as you can.

When she powers up the shuriken and makes it larger, be on your guard: the large shuriken is very difficult to deflect, or it cannot be deflected at all. Yuffie can heal whenever her HP is depleting, so attack whenever she stops moving. Do also remember to heal whenever necessary.

There is usually not much time in the battle when Yuffie is not moving, always flipping and jumping and dodging, so it is wise casting Stop(ra/ga) every so often.

This time, Cloud's overall stats increase, and he gains another attack - Omnislash. He hits harder and faster, but still retains some of his weaknesses. By now you should have cleared Pegasus Cup and learned Strike Raid, so try to keep your distance from Cloud and start executing Strike Raid. Once around 50% of his HP is drained, he'll start using Omnislash. Omnislash is a predictable move, but can be tough to evade. When Cloud runs to the center of the stage and charges (a gold glow can be seen surrounding him), heal Sora to full HP and Dodge Roll when Cloud yells and slashes to evade. Cloud's Omnislash mostly homes in on Donald and Goofy before focusing on Sora, but his finisher varies, though he uses the stabbing strike for his combo most often. Sora should have learned special attack abilities by now so don't feel shy to abuse them. If Sora has MP Rage equipped, you can regain lost MP just by taking a few hits. If you are high enough level you should be able to blindly charge in on him although it's recommended not to do it but if you do you still need to be careful as he doesn't take damage during his Omnislash.

When you start the battle, Hercules will be glowing and thus is invincible in this state. To get rid of the glow you must wait for the barrels to appear, then carry one and throw it at him. He will be stunned and now open to attacks, take your chance now before he becomes invincible once more. During this stage he can also use a twisting-sword attack, where he twirls around with his sword exposed. And sometimes he will dash in hopes of knocking you out, simply dodge away from his path to not get hit. Continue and use Aero to win.

Despite its menacing appearance, Behemoth can be defeated relatively easily compared to many other bosses. Its only weakness is the small black horn on its head, which is more often than not out of Sora's reach while standing on the ground. The trick is to jump on to the thigh of one of its hind legs and then further on to its back (or just directly onto his back, if possible), and then simply run up to the back of the horn to avoid falling off due to Behemoth's head movements. From this position, you can attack the horn freely, preferably using Ars Arcanum. If you attack the horn enough, the Behemoth will temporarily fall to the ground making it easier for the whole party to fight it. However, once it recovers consciousness, it will attack with a wide spread thunder-like maneuver. Precise timing is needed to evade this attack at close range with Dodge Roll. Behemoth may also very occasionally leap from one place to another.

Blizzard, Thunder, and Fire magic doesn't affect it. Also, when the Behemoth charges up its energy ball rain attack (an orange ball will start glowing in between his horns) get under its back legs and stay there until the balls stop raining and then make a dash for the weak horn.

If Sora cannot make it to the Behemoth's horn, a possible alternate strategy is to use any form of Gravity magic. Since the Behemoth is slow, it will almost always be hit, and given its high HP, it will quickly lose a lot of HP. This also depletes Sora's MP quickly however.

Immediately cast Aero as soon as the battle starts, then jump and attack Cerberus's heads. When Cerberus's heads pull back, he will pour Darkness into the ground, when this happens either jump onto his back or dodge around the arena. When Cerberus starts shooting fireballs, dodge them or guard to get EXP and to deflect them back onto him. Sometimes Cerberus will heel and fall back into the ground, causing a shockwave. You will want to jump onto the stands or glide until the attack is over. Use Cure and Potions to heal, continuous casting of Aero will aid you.

Hades has an array of attacks and they are simple to dodge. He may shoot out a ball of fire which can be easily dodged or guarded against to deflect back to him. He will also use a flamethrower-like attack that you should glide away from. He will sometimes go invincible and cast his signature Temper Flare. He will revolve around you so if you are quick, run in the empty spaces between the flames, otherwise you can dodgeroll through the flames. Use Cure and Aero to win the battle.

The Rock Titan takes little-to-no effort to defeat it. Immediately after the battle starts cast Aero and attack its feet, cure when needed. Continue drilling at its feet until it falls on its back, climb up and attack the heads. If you maneuver yourself well enough, you can stay mounted on top and easily drill its HP away, however in most cases you might slide off again onto the ground. Don't forget to recast Aero.

Once you start the battle, the Ice Titan will start throwing icicle projectiles against you, either block them to get advantage of them or run sideways, always run on the stands, don't run in the middle of the arena as the Ice Titan will turn and cause shockwaves which do extreme damage. He will also call to balls of ice that will fall on you, your best way to avoid them is to keep running. Then he will do even more advanced ice projectiles which you should attempt to guard, even at the risk of being hit directly after guarding. It is suggested to cast Aero during this phase only, as he will also breath out ice and freeze the arena a bit. He will add yet another move to his arsenal where he extends his hands and conjures a bright light that can freeze you. You will want to, for the most part, guard a lot of his attacks as that is the easiest way to winning the battle against him, and refrain from casting Aero too much as that will force him to use the larger icicle projectiles that cannot be blocked back towards him.
