Their designs are based on several characters' appearances in the Kingdom Hearts series. The various figures are part of Funko's continuing Pop! Vinyl collectible figures, and as such has series numbers assigned. Appearance Each figurine is about three and three-fourths inches tall and features characters in their outfits from the Kingdom Hearts series. Like most Pop! Figures, these have comparatively larger heads and notably small black eyes. The King Mickey, Sora, Kairi, and Riku figures are based on their appearances in Kingdom Hearts II specifically. King Mickey's left hand holds a vinyl Kingdom Key D, which is part of the figure and can't be removed, while Donald and Goofy each hold the Mage's Staff and Knight's Shield respectively. Release First Series The first series of figures were leaked in a Gamestop pre-order listing, with an employee taking a picture of the listing and posting it online in early December 2016. The following week, the release date was leaked from GameStop's preorder system as March 15, 2017. Images of the King Mickey figure were first posted on Funko Pop News, a non-official website for Funko Pop figures, in late Janurary 2017, alongside images of the Goody and Hot Topic-exclusive Donald figures. On February 2, 2017, Funko officially announced the upcoming release of the first series of Kingdom Hearts-themed figures, setting their release for April 2017. Second Series In June 2017, Funko announced the second series of the collection, which would include several original characters. Exclusives In addition to the main series, Funko has manufactured and released several additional figures as exclusives through certain stores. The Kingdom Hearts Union Cup Tournament is a 13-week Kingdom Hearts tournament held in celebration of the series' 15th Anniversary and as part of the wiki's annual End-of-Year Event. It launches October 2, 2017. The purpose is to determine the best of the best from the Kingdom Hearts series according to the voice of the fans of the Kingdom Hearts series. There are various categories that elements and characters can be voted for, including Favorite Protagonist, Favorite Disney Character, and Favorite Dream Eater. This tournament also serves to prepare the community for the upcoming year of Kingdom Hearts III.

In addition to the main tournament, a fanon tournament for movies and worlds in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III will be held at the Kingdom Hearts Fanon Wiki, and a medal tournament will be held on the Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ Wiki.

Rules

There are a couple rules in order to participate.

• Those who vote must have a registered account on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki.
• While the tournament will be held on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki, you are encouraged to continue the discussion on the Keyhole.
• Please help make your case for each person and game element you vote for during the tournament by helping us improve their articles. That means, if you're voting for Jafar for Favorite Disney Character in the series, consider improving the Jafar article on the Wiki.
• Nominations
  • You have up to five votes in nomination categories.
    • You may nominate up to five different subjects in each category that is open to nominations for the bracket. Nominations are open from October 2 - October 27.
    • Votes in favor of subjects already nominated count towards your five vote limit.
  • You may nominate only in categories that are opened for nominations. Some categories have pre-determined brackets prepared by tournament organizers (because there are much fewer subjects).
• Tournament
  • Once the bracket begins, users may vote only once in each battle that is open. Multiple votes will be disqualified.
  • You may change your vote, but only before the battle ends. Once the battle ends, the final score will be calculated and the winning subject will advance to the next round.
• Awards
  • Awards will be given for Most Influential Voter, Most Valuable Editor, and more.
  • Results will be announced at the end of December, and will be posted in preparation for Kingdom Hearts III.
• Do not use multiple accounts to nominate or vote. Sockpuppetry is strictly prohibited on the wiki, and wiki administrators and staff have the ability to check that you're not engaging in sockpuppetry. Any account found violating account policies will be banned, and their votes will be invalidated during the tournament.
• Follow all rules on the wiki when engaging with other users and voters. As always, statements that constitute threats of violence, are pornographic in nature, are attacks of other users, or are otherwise disruptive or inappropriate will be removed and the users will be blocked.
