Thunder Roll

Thunder Roll (サンダーロール, Sandā Rōru) is a technique in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Thunder Roll is much like Dodge Roll, but allows the user to also inflict Thunder damage to their enemies on contact. Unlike Dodge Roll, however, the user does not gain temporary invulnerability to attacks.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Thunder Roll is a Movement command that has a maximum level of 4 and fills the Command Gauge by 12% each time it hits an enemy. When the command is leveled up, the distance traveled and damage dealt both increase.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Thunder Roll is a Movement Command that can be melded through three different recipes, listed in the Action Recipe.

• The first recipe can only be melded by Ventus, and is a type K recipe that has a 20% chance of transforming into Spark Raid when Ventus melds it.
  • Stun Block (LV3) + Dodge Roll (LV4)
• The second recipe can only be melded by Ventus, and is a type K recipe that has a 20% chance of transforming into Spark Raid when Ventus melds it.
  • Thundaga (LV4) + Dodge Roll (LV4)
• The Third recipe can only be melded by Ventus, and is a type L recipe that has a 20% chance of transforming into Spark Raid when Ventus melds it.
  • Thunder Surge (LV4) + Dodge Roll (LV4)
