Agreed. 1.5 is a remake, so KH3D counts as the most recent. {{User:TheFifteenthMember/Sig1}} 16:28, 22 August 2014 (UTC) |

Faith
Please merge this info, as appropriate.Glorious CHAOS! 16:11, September 19, 2010 (UTC)
During the time where the player has to protect Queen Minnie from the Heartless that have infested Disney Castle, more specifically, the Throne Room, the player will have access to use Faith. The Reaction Command appears if you stay with Minnie for a little while. It is especially effective as one or two blasts can destroy large numbers of Heartless, and, although it appears to be a spell, it consumes no MP. It is presumably of the light attribute, though this is not made especially clear.
Faith takes the form of a large blast of pink and white light, and is able to vanquish all Heartless in the immediate area, though it does not prevent more from spawning. Sora jumps in the air, raises his Keyblade, and says "Let's go!". Minnie ascends a few feet and a column of swirling white light appears around her, she then says "Light!". There is a huge white explosion and a white shock wave is sent out from the base of the column.
- Thanks for "notifying" about the merge after it was done. BLUER一番 16:14, September 19, 2010 (UTC)
- The hell? It's been up for discussion for weeks. They shouldn't have even had separate pages in the first place.Glorious CHAOS! 16:52, September 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, I saw the discussion at the talk page. Thanks! BLUER一番 16:58, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Mickey's Attacks.
I think Mickey's attack such as D-Pearl or his sleight on Re:CoM Reverse/Rebirth mode can be considered Holy element? And when he cures Sora using the power of Light, should that be considered Cure spell or Holy spell? 17master 16:15, September 19, 2010 (UTC)
Bloody hell
Fine, I'll go through point by point and explain why I reverted that edit:
- This article has pretty much all-needed info besides the recipes for BBS. See Lucky Lucky for what a completed ability article should look like. The lead could be touched up some, and we need to verify exactly what Mickey and Minnie's orbs are called, but the rest of this is unnecessary right from the get go.
- The Angel Star section is completely irrelevant to the actual Holy ability.
- The CoM section should be part of the description at the beginning.
- THERE ARE TWO COM SECTIONS. AND THEY CONSIST ALMOST ENTIRELY OF WAFFLING.
- The KHII section should go in the lead, as with the CoM. The pearls - it needs to be verified what their name is. If it's not called Holy, just Holy, IT DOESN'T GO ON THIS PAGE.
- The Days section is empty.
- The Etymology from the Germanic language is not at all what we want here. We want where the name of this ability came from, the immediate history of the word - it came from Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy wiki can deal with the Germanic bit if they want to.
- The Trivia is on the whole idiotic. Holy is a first-level spell, like Fire - and that trivia bit is the worst worded pile of nonsense I've seen. Holy is absolutely not the only spell to have multiple renderings. Several things have had different translations throughout the series. The Faith bit is completely irrelevant to this page. Roxas's ability is called "Event Horizon" and "Magic Hour", not Holy - yes, it looks somewhat like Holy, BECAUSE IT'S MADE OF LIGHT.

Wow.... not trying to sound disrespectfull and i know where your coming from but.... Kryten......your kinda sounding like an angry asshole, pardon my language and i am really not trying to insult you in anyway.--My Keyblade + Your face = pwnage 18:05, September 23, 2010 (UTC)Chihuahuaman
- ...because someone added a gigantic mess to the page twice, then went and complained about me reverting it to another admin. Yes, I'm annoyed, I didn't want to waste my time doing a point-by-point refutal.Glorious CHAOS! 18:22, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
Move
Shouldn't this be moved to Faith? It's the name used in the most games. TheSilentHero 14:30, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
- Depends. If we want to go with the name found in the first game it appeared, it would remain Holy. If we want to go with the majority of games, Faith would be the name. Taking a look at another article, Guard is called so in its first appearance but the majority (4 vs 3) uses "Block". I'm not sure what the policy is here. TheFifteenthMember 16:20, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
- It should be the term of which it first appeared in. That makes the most sense. Like, say Sora. If they change Sora's name to Blade in the next game, should Sora's name be changed to that too? It would say, "Sora, or Blade in KHIII". User:Riku the Bloody/Sig1 16:28, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
Over the IRC, Pea explained to me how it works. The japanese name ホーリー (Hori), the katakana of "Holy". Since "Hori" is used in every game so far, we take "Holy" to be the most stable name and use that for the page name. TheFifteenthMember 17:05, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
- So, Treasure Magnet should be moved to Draw and Experience Boost to EXP Chance, right? TheSilentHero 17:23, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
- I would think, yes. TheFifteenthMember 18:26, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
- It's whichever localization is the most recent, under the principle that, as time goes on, Square Enix improves its localization staff. (If the series was instead something like Digimon, where as time goes on the localization staff goes off the deep end, we'd use the first production name for lineage sake.)"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 00:23, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
- So, which is considered the most recent, DDD or 1.5? TheSilentHero 09:33, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
- Technically, 1.5. This wiki seems to be coated in 1.5 anyway. User:Riku the Bloody/Sig1

Agreed. 1.5 is a remake, so KH3D counts as the most recent. TheFifteenthMember 16:28, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
