Blizzard Boost (ブリザドアップ Burizado Appu?, lit. "Blizzard Up") is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. It increases the damage the user inflicts with Blizzard-based attacks. It can be multi-installed to increase its effects.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Blizzard Boost is an enemy card effect that costs 20 CP to add to the deck and lasts for one reload.

In Kingdom Hearts II, Blizzard Boost is a support ability that costs 4 AP to equip.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Blizzard Boost is a stats ability that can be installed up to three times.

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Blizzard Boost is a stats ability that can be installed up to three times.

  • The Blue Rhapsody enemy card has Blizzard Boost as its effect.
  • The Black Fungus enemy card can randomly activate Blizzard Boost.
  • The Darkside enemy card can mimic an enemy's Blizzard Boost.

Kingdom Hearts II

  • Sora learns Blizzard Boost at level 32 with the Dream Rod, 39 with the Dream Sword, and 59 with the Dream Shield.
  • Donald learns Blizzard Boost after defeating Demyx at Hollow Bastion.
  • Jack Skellington has Blizzard Boost as a default ability.
  • The Mysterious Abyss has Blizzard Boost as its Equipment Ability.
