When traveling up The Castle that Never Was, an easy way to defeat berserkers and nobodies in general is to use Magnega, jump into the middle of it, and use Firaga.
Trivia
Magnet is the only noted occurrence of Final Fantasy's Blue Magic occurring in Kingdom Hearts, all other spells being, variably throughout the series, White Magic (Cure, Aero, Stop, Reflect) or Black Magic (Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Gravity). The spells Stop, Reflect, and Gravity, are classed as Time Magic in some Final Fantasy titles.
