:The sitenotice has the color set to pink (#F4BBFF). The title is given the css class "altcolors", which looking at MediaWiki:Gadget-GlobalStyle.css, alternates between white and grey every 5 seconds after a 1 second delay. So that's why it only looks pink for a moment, the altcolors animation hasn't kicked in yet. I guess the easiest fix would be to change the default text color to white so it blends in with the start of the animation cycle. —<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman'; font-size:110%><span style="color:#9932CC">Aid</span><span style="color:#9932CC">1043</span></span> 02:56, 15 September 2024 (UTC) |

Cannon[edit]
Cannon Gun, Cannon Ball, Ice Cannon, and Huge Cannon? Might want to fix that misspelling, or we're going to have very few pages left. =PGlorious CHAOS! 02:24, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
- lulz, didn't notice that. Guess I got a little overzealous when typing "canon" because I was picturing me firing all the pages out of one, over to the Fannon... I mean fanon wiki :) -Azul (talk ・contribs) 06:13, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Haven't the blogs been removed from the namespace already ? TNÉ je t'♥ mélancolie ! 03:05, October 31, 2009 (UTC)
Please do not, please do not[edit]
I'll be removing these lines; too many lines, too many restrictions here. And what's worse, it's pushing our pages down, especially for casual readers. These are more ideal for a page like "Kingdom Hearts Wiki:Follow da Rules" or "Kingdom Hearts Wiki:Read or Ban", which I do not recommend.
I recommend the site notice used for temporary wiki-wide notices. For instance, I will be replacing these "please do not" lines with a notice on a "spring cleaning session" soon. BLUER一番 12:03, November 16, 2009 (UTC)
- I've tried to condense the lines down to two with hopefully nicer tone, and specifically reworded the fanart restriction to one that encourages it, but drives traffic towards the fanon wiki (two bonuses!). Is this acceptable?Glorious CHAOS! 15:57, November 16, 2009 (UTC)
- I understand to whom and for what these messages are aiming for, and while this is so much better, I would like these removed altogether. We have these links pointed out in the sidebar already. Registered users can already see them in the Welcome message, and anons can register if they're serious in editing. And as for that fanon link... until the Fanon wiki links back to us, I don't think we should be giving them free spotlight across the wiki.
- Oh, and I'm adding the deletion notice until the time is up. BLUER一番 13:50, November 18, 2009 (UTC)
Fanon wiki link[edit]
It's wikia:kingdomheartsfanon that we're linked to in the Affiliates section. TNÉ je t'♥ mélancolie ! 01:31, November 22, 2009 (UTC)
- Except that they're not linking back. I see you're an editor there too, would you mind pointing it out to the wiki? BLUER一番 04:15, November 24, 2009 (UTC)
Will do. TNÉ je t'♥ mélancolie ! 12:18, November 24, 2009 (UTC)
Re-add[edit]

Can an admin update the Sitenotice, as it's been almost a week since the Roundtable? Chitalian8 00:01, 14 May 2011 (EDT)
Standards note[edit]
Is it time to take that one down?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:15, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
Update[edit]
I think the standards note (see section above), urge to vote for Featured content, and social content reminder should be taken down since they're all quite outdated. We shouldn't keep the same notice out for too long, otherwise I think it loses its meaning. A new message should be written saying that nominations for the revamped Mirage Arena are being held. Can someone change the link for the magazine to Issue 5? TheSilentHero 13:05, 28 July 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for your help, Neumannz. Just one more touch: the links in their current blue colour aren't quite visible through the green. Please, can you help with that? TRSNX 10:07, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

Linkage[edit]
Sorry if I'm getting on your butts so quickly since the release was about two days ago, but TTM should be updated to issue 6. Thank you guys for another fantastic issue!! <3 ANX219 01:42, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
- Bumping this. Also, could we please have some advertisement for the end of years? :3 TheFifteenthMember 18:43, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
Update[edit]
Could someone update the magazine link to Issue 7, and remove the EOYE notice? (Maybe replace it with a 10th anniversary notice?) Also, the Featured Article and Media are now updated every quarter, instead of every month, and the Cleanup of the Month has been replaced with the Featured Project (also updates every quarter). TheSilentHero 18:12, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
- Also, the technical info, Let's Play and podcast notes are all pretty old (especially the technical info, which was made after DDD's release) so I think they can be taken down. TheFifteenthMember 16:28, 31 January 2016 (UTC)

- Oh. Are there any active admins still around here then? I feel like we should elect some more."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:41, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

Would it be possible to move the code from this page to a page everyone can edit (like KHWiki:Sitenotice), and transclude that page on this page? That way we won't have to ask everytime something needs changing. (I'm not 100% sure if this works, though...) TheSilentHero 13:53, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- I don't think it should be open for everyone to edit. Since it appears on every page, it would be pretty disastrous if it's vandalised. TheFifteenthMember 13:58, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- If someone were to vandalize it, we can just undo the edit, and it'll be fine again. There are templates that are used on a lot of pages that everyone can edit, and vandalize, so I don't see why we shouldn't make this editable for everyone. TheSilentHero 14:07, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- The difference being that templates only affect the content of the wiki, whereas the sitenotice is a big, flashy notice that aims to attract as much attention as possible. TheFifteenthMember 14:15, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- Which forum is that? I'm personally wanting all three of you to be admins, so if we're low on admins, I'm ready to promote some."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:30, 13 February 2016 (UTC)

Honestly, I make such few mainspace edits these days that I don't feel like I deserve adminship. Going back to the original topic, can we not remove all the old notices about the LP, podcast, Featured content and consensus formats? TheFifteenthMember 18:04, 13 February 2016 (UTC)

I would just have it as that (links are temporarily red so it shows up against the white background here), should I make the changes? TheFifteenthMember 22:20, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
Is the technical info note really relevant as a site notice any more? TheFifteenthMember 19:54, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
- We should probably add the IRC thing as well. I don't think we need the tech info thing, seeing as that's not a major project right now. Chainoffire 23:29, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
- As we still have massive amounts of technical info not being added correctly (it's why I'm still wading through December and January's edits), yes. Or if not a sitenotice, it needs to be an editnotice."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 04:23, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
Discord Update[edit]

"Site Notice" color bug?[edit]
