Rail Slide is a technique introduced in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to slide at high speed along horizontal beams and cables.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Rail Slide is a Flowmotion command. It is activated when coming into contact with a rideable surface like a rail. Enemies hit during Rail Slide take minor damage and are knocked back.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Rail Slide is a default technique. It is activated when using the Get On Situation Command at the start of a rail. Sora automatically performs a Superjump (regular jump when Superjump is not equipped) when ending Rail Slide. After casting Blizzard magic, Sora can use Rail Slide on the ice left behind by walking on it.
