A Shimmering Crystal is represented by a jewel with an [[List of Synthesis Materials|Elemental material]] structure. All four pieces of the jewel are a mixture of cyan, red, and lavender, though lavender is the more prominent color, and the star-shaped jewel has white sparkles near its center.
Shimmering materials are colored in a mix of lavender, cyan, and a touch of teal, with white sparkles near the center. A Shimmering Crystal consists of a large star-shaped jewel, with a smaller facet cut jewel at the bottom, and a diamond-shaped jewel on either side.

The material's name references the sparkles present on it, as "shimmering" means "produces sparks under light."
