Bubble Burst is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to encase enemies in bubbles.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Bubble Burst is the Reality Shift in Prankster's Paradise. When activated, the player must use the stylus to blow bubbles at the targeted enemy. If successful, the target is encased in a bubble. The player can use to move the bubble around (unless Riku uses it on Char Clawbster), trapping any enemies in the bubble's way, before using the Finish command by pressing to burst the bubble, or to perform a Superjump.
When used on Monstro during the initial fight against Chill Clawbster, the Finish command is only available when Sora, while on the bubble holding Monstro captive, is close to the enemy. If the bubble takes too many hits, it pops early, resulting in Sora's instant defeat. Using the Finish command takes Chill Clawbster down.
In Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, activating the Reality Shift instantly encases the targeted enemy in a bubble. Bursting the bubble requires pressing ( in the Japanese version), and jumping requires pressing ( in the Japanese version).
