Lucky Strike (ラックアップ Rakku Appu , lit. "Luck Up"), translated as Lucky Lucky in Kingdom Hearts II, is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts. It increases the drop rate of items, and the effect can be increased by equipped multiple copies of the ability, when available.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts, Lucky Strike is a support ability that costs 3 AP to equip, 2 AP in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. The drop rate is increased by a factor of 1 + 0.5n, where n represents the number of Lucky Strike abilities equipped by the active party. Equipping all three available copies of the ability results in enemies' drop rates being multiplied by 2.5.
In Kingdom Hearts II, Lucky Lucky is a support ability that costs 5 AP to equip. The drop rate is increased by a factor of 1 + 0.3n, where n represents the number of Lucky Lucky abilities equipped by the active party. Equipping all seven available copies of the ability, including those attached to equipment, results in enemies' base drop rates being multiplied by 3.1. In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, the factor is 1 + 0.5n and the maximum number that can be equipped is twelve, resulting in a maximum drop rate multiplication of 7. The additional Lucky Lucky available in Limit Form can further raise the drop rate factor to 7.5, and the two Lucky Lucky in Critical Mode can raise it to 8.5.
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Lucky Strike is an equipment ability.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Lucky Strike is a Stat Chip that increases Luck by one when installed in the Stat Matrix.
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Lucky Strike is a prize ability that can be equipped up to five times.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Lucky Strike is a support ability that costs 5 AP to equip. It increases the drop rate of prize boxes by a factor of 1 + 0.3n, where n represents the number of Lucky Strike abilities equipped by the active party.
