A Lightning Crystal, the rarest of the Lightning materials
Lightning (とどろく Todoroku , lit. "Thundering"), also translated as "Thunder" in Kingdom Hearts, is a material type available in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. Lightning materials contain the essence of thunder, and are colored yellow.
Drops
Kingdom Hearts
- Thunder Shard: Yellow Opera (8%), White Mushroom (100%)[1], Bambi (40%/60%)[2]
- Thunder Gem: Aquatank (8%), Screwdiver (4%), White Mushroom (10%/40%)[3], Bambi (30%)[4]
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix introduced the Lightning Stone, dropped only by the Black Ballade.

- Lightning Shard[5]: Bolt Tower (10%), Rapid Thruster (4%)
