Showtime is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. It allows the user to attack enemies with a variety of magical attacks.
Mechanics[edit]
Kingdom Hearts[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts, Showtime is the ability of the Genie summon. While Genie is on the battlefield, enemies within range are marked with Genie icons, indicating a lock-on. When the "Showtime" command is selected from the Command Menu, Genie unleashes a series of random magical attacks on the locked-on targets. Using Showtime depletes 1 MP from Genie's MP Gauge (2 MP in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix).
Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Showtime is the effect of the Genie Summon Card, while Showtime Lv2 and Showtime Lv3 are Summon Sleights. Showtime summons Genie to the battlefield, whereupon Genie casts Gravira, Thundara, or Stopra on enemies, while Showtime Lv2 and Showtime Lv3 allow Genie to cast two and three spells, respectively.
