How the symbol X 'crosses' is symbolic of the crossing of dark and light. The members of Organization XIII get their names by adding an X to the name they had as humans comes from this. ==Birth by Sleep section==
I believe that this section is unnecessary within the article as it details the activities of the founding members before they became Nobodies and actually founded Organization XIII. Alternatively, if the 'Birth by Sleep' section is kept, surely a 'Union Cross' section is also necessary as it details the origins of Luxu, Ventus, Lauriam and Elrena? This would also lead to pages like Real Organization XIII needing to be greatly expanded to detail the origins of all the members. To that end, I don't think the Birth by Sleep section adds anything that isn't already covered in the 'Between Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts' section. Floor is open for debate. - Joveus (talk) 15:51, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

::That seems like a fair compromise. Given the information in the Secret Reports of KH3, are you able to create an updated collage of the members with Isa and Lea included for use on the page? - Joveus (talk) 18:57, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
:::I can make one at some point but right now I’m quite busy with finishing my BA, so I won’t be very active in the image department for a while. - JTD95 (talk) 19:11, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
I do hate to be a broken record but, upon a few re-readings, I really can't find anything in the 'Birth by Sleep' section that is relevant to the Organization XIII page - it's founding members and their motivations are reiterated in the 'Between Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts' section, and those members do not actually set the events leading to the creation of the Organization into motion until after the events of Birth by Sleep have already passed. Are there any other opinions on this? - Joveus (talk) 19:53, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
:::::All the events covered in the Secret Ansem Reports and the intro scene to KH3D needs to be on this page, because it is explicitly explained to be critical to the Organization's founding and original purpose. 20:13, 20 April 2019 (UTC) |

Yes. BTW, does anyone have the in-battle quotes from Re:COM?
- OMG, they are so hard to decipher,(even in KHII its hard to tell the quotes, and thats in English...) its not even funny. I got some of them down though, if you want them. XienZo 00:28, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yes please.CyberXIII 00:45, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Heh, just as I realize I don't have it written down, but anyway, from memory....
- Axel-Doushita, doushita? (what, what? (like taunt)) kiokusitaka? (Got it memorized?) honouniyakkarero! (burn in the flames!) madaowaranze (something about "its not over yet", or it means "its over", or something like that)oiyo, anatagakeshiteiru (I shall annihilate you) moete! (burn!)
- Larxene- ikazutuyo (lightning)kienai (can't escape!) saigonina(here's the end(for you)!) waruiwane~(how pitiful...) ...kowastyauwa (I'll break you!(referance to the "Oh, I won't break the toy..."))
- I'll put the rest later, since I'm not sure if half of these are right anyway.... XienZo 03:13, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Heh, just as I realize I don't have it written down, but anyway, from memory....
Xehanort's Heartless himself does not have an Org cloak in KH2. That is Riku in Xehanort's Heartless' form.
- i found a decent organization XIII myspace...
you guys should check it out..

weapon names[edit]
hey this isent a big thing so its cool if nothing happens. So i don't know how to put this but you know how sore wields the keyblade but it has a name (depending on the keychain) and leon uses a gunblade but its the revolver so yeah i guess its like the weapons are named and thanks to 358/2 we now know the names of the organisations weapons, so I was thinking isen't that worth note. Perhaps just something little like in could be in brkets after e.g. 8.Axel; "The Flurry of Dancing Flames;" Controlled Assassins, used the attribute of Fire and twin Chakram (Eternal Flames). but yeah again its no biggi.
Umm...[edit]
They don't wear hakama... What the hell? Where the hell did that come from? Fix it.
Suggestion[edit]
I noticed that in the trivia it mentions that Sora may have recovered his memories of the dead organization members by reading their graves. Couldn't it also be possible that he gained the infomation from Ansems computer? - Redlight11 16/2/09
Possible, but unlikely. Sora really doesn't use the computer exept to go to the Space Paranoids. I'm the one who put that in the trivia and I didn't think of that. I won't mind if you add it in there though. -xNaminéx
Added it and it was removed, that's a no then? -Redlight11
Guess so. iIt really wasn't likely at all. Sora rarely uses it and orobably barely knows how to use such a complex piece of machinary. -xNaminéx
Organization Collage Picture[edit]
The current Collage Picture we have seems to be lacking somewhat in quality. I propose we use this image I made myself. Organization XIII CollageBowser the Second 11:27, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Sure, go with that. XienZo 18:39, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
The Nobodies Heartless[edit]
If Xehanort had a special heartless AND a special Nobody, wouldn't the rest of Organization XIII too? Excluding Xion. 21:43, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
- Most probally, to keep a form it seems you need to have a strong heart & to willingly accept the darknes. Xehanort did and so his heartless kept its form (not becoming a shadow, darkside etc) and his nobody was born, chances are the apprentices, Xigbar, Xaldin, Vexen, Lexeaus & Zexion gave there hearts willingly too so theres a strong chance there heartless do, but its unknown if the remaining members gave there hearts willingly or they just became corrupted so there heartless might have been a super powerful, but did not look like them. Ximodnic 17 Febuary 2009
|
i think that the organizations problem is that they dont know what or where there heartless is because once they controled roxas if they knew who there heartless were, then they would just send him to kill that heartless so they could reclaim there heart. instead because they dont know who there heartless were they had to start killing as many as possible hopeing that one of them is going to be the right one. --Foutlet 17:03, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
Death[edit]
Just a thought I had, has anything official ever specifically said that any members of Organization XIII have died? It's been said that they've been "eliminated", or they've "met their end", with the most specific answer being they've "faded back into Darkness", but nothing has ever been said they aren't alive. But that brings up the fact that Nobodies aren't actually "alive" in the first place. I've narrowed it down to three possible answers: 1-I'm overthinking the whole thing and they all are dead. 2-Only Xemnes is alive because his element is Nothingness and could have used it to save himself. 3-All the members could still be alive somewhere because as Nobodies, they didn't have lives to loose in the first place. The most likely place they would be the Realm of Darkness, since they've faded back into Darkness. -xNaminéx
|
Yeah, but the dramatic disappearance was probably because he was the leader and final boss, but it could've been fake. I think he's still alive. He always said "I am Nothing" and Riku once said that Nothingness probably goes on forever. Also, that picture from Coded with Mickey, Donald, and Goofy looking at someone in one of those cloaks. They looked scared like it was an enemy, which rules out Riku. When I put it all together, it's really sounds true. -xNaminéx
xehanort's heartless was kept alive inside Riku (Chain of memories) so it is possible that Xenmas lives somehow. However I think that it's safe to say that we wont be seeing any of the members of the organization again. Their heartlesses however, remain to be seen. The phrase "eliminated" was used throughout the kingdon hearts games, mostly oin the journel, however it is used by a few of the organization members at some point.- Redlight11 22:51, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
If you guys have noticed whenever in Kingdom Hearts 2 you kill a nobody enemy they disappear in a flash of light, but all of the Organization XIII members disappear into darkness so maybe they still are alive. The Luna Diviner 03:42, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

The gravestone Theory[edit]
I decided to start playing the game again >_>. I just finished Hallow Bastion (The battle of 1000 heartless, etc) and noticed afterwards that the entries for the eliminated Organization XIII members appear in the journal. (Vexen, Lexaeus, Zexion, Marluxia and Larxene) This is long before Sora reaches their gravestones in The World that Never Was. Does this not make the theory that Sora gained the information from that source impossible? - Redlight11
I suppose it does. But what event in the storyline would cause Sora to remember them? I restarted the game too, but i'm pretty far away from the war still. -xNaminéx
Hmm well.. Sora did meet Xenmas there, that could have triggered suppressed memories. Also, Sora went into "The relm of Darkness" where he found the picture. That could have triggered something. Or it could have just been that the creaters of the game thought that would be as good an oppertuinity as any to stick the entries in. - Redlight11
huh... probably a combination of the three. I'll change the trivia. Thank you for the info! -xNaminéx No problem.
I've been replaying KH2 as well, and have been checking the journal for updates as many times as possible throughout the game. I first noticed the other Org. 13 members' entries after the cutscene where you meet Sephiroth for the first time. No idea why they would choose then to put them in, but I'm almost positive this is when it happens. Though I suppose they could have also appeared after Mickey tells you that "Ansem" wasn't really Ansem, but I'm not sure. Cheers. --74.218.254.188 20:22, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
I got to the place where you fight saix and luxord (where all their graves are) and i noticed why doesnt Xion have a grave if she was somewhat apart of the organization? she ovisuly doesnt survive if she isnt in kingdom hearts II right? And even if somewhat at the end she goes back to her "former self" she still should have a grave like roxas right?
Spoilers --> Wow, haven't been on here in a while! Roxas "absorbs" Xion, making them into one being. Also, Xion wasen't truely a Nobody, so she didn't truely qualify as a member of the organization. -- Redlight11
OH MY GOD
WAIT Wait wait...I just thought of something: Roxas does not use two keyblades until after he defeats Xion and leaves the organization, but his tombstone thing has two keyblades.....Ooo the plot holes. --Black Tornado
BEST THEORY EVER --Zack fair 007 23:16, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Are you trying to be funny..?
|
I think that he found out about Zexion and Lexaeus ( and other members from KH: CoM )from Ansem's computer ( still why didn't he find anything about Xigbar, Axel, Luxord and Roxas ? ) - Jurrak
Maybe the developers just put the entries in there to inform new comers to the series or those who never played CoM what happened to the other five members of the Organization, so they wouldn't be like "OMG WTF? That wasn't 13! They lied! OMG!" and that Sora never remembered anything about them.
Larxene's weapons[edit]
I was under the impression that Larxene's weapons were kunai, not throwing knives as listed in the article. Axel's weapons are listed as chakrams rather than throwing discs so why can't Larxene have her weapons called by their proper names too?
- Hello?
|
|
I hear somewhere that they were called "Shock Charms". But I can't remember where..- Redlight11
|
I never really understood that. It's named Way to the Dawn on the menu screen, but yet Riku says it is called Soulstealer. "You don't need the power of darkness, or my weapon soulstealer yet".
|
Fading[edit]
i know this sounds silly, but since the nobodies are not beings of either light or dark, then why do they fade into the darkness?
|
|
I have my own personal therioes about this. It's alot of speculation into the actual biology of KH (theroy in quotes) "Heartless and Nobodies aren't natural, they were created... albeit accidently. If a creature like a Nobody is defeated, I beleive that they fade into the Realm of Darkness and not into non-existance. Unless they die a natural death, they will continue to live in some from. Similar to the way the Veil Lizard Xion attempted to defeat without her keyblade. It continued to apper to her because the heart wasn't released. But would it and other Emblem Heartless apper again? Possibly" It's a little farfetched, but I think that the Organization might still be alive in the Dark Realm. - Hyperwire_2.0

You forgot Zexion, whom I'm going to guess is Blue Mage. 69.205.62.182 19:11, 19 June 2009 (UTC) No name yet
Weapon references[edit]
I've probably noticed only a minute amount of references that the weapons have based on their names but I'm sure others can find 'em.
Such as one of Saix's weapons, Lightyear, may be named after Buzz Lightyear, or Zexion's joke weapon could be a reference to Zexion's cooking talents. Kaihedgie 22:03, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

- the answer is still no. not everything with the number 13 is connected to the organization, not to mention FF has been using roman numerals for quite some time before KH. so, again, no. --Neumannz 06:22, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

Should that be put here? It introduces all the XIII members, so i assumed you could watch it for info. Probably not, but it would still be good to see it up here!CaptainLarryDuck 09:53, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

Xion's death[edit]
Didn't Xion get captured by Axel?
I thought when Xemnas took her, they turned her evil and ordered her to destroy Roxas. Only, it didn't work and Roxas killed and absorbed her.
xemnas didn't turn xion evil she attacked roxas because she was created to absorb roxas or sora if they didn't help the organisation and by that time roxas had left the organisation so he could find out why he could use the keyblade. yes axel did capture xion after xion run away from the organisation due to riku telling her to find a new crowd
Confused[edit]
I'm confused. On the page it says "Roxas died in order of his number" what the heck does that mean?--125.238.72.9 11:31, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
- He...died thirteenth.—Urutapu 11:39, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
I also have no freaking clue what this means. What order is there? Not to mention Roxas never "died" or was destroyed, so what does this trivia actually mean? I'm inclined to delete it, but if there is a real explanation, than it needs to be rewritten. --Neumannz 18:41, March 25, 2010(UTC)

Better. He never died nor disappear. He just became whole again with Sora. I would've deleted it myself, since it took me a while to see what that meant.
And didn't Xemnas 'disappear' last? The Yoshiman 97 01:29, March 26, 2010 (UTC)
Connections with Ventus[edit]
Ok, so last night my mind was racked with thoughts about his. Over half the members knew Ventus, do you think they every mentioned it, at least amongst themselves? It might partially explain Axel's friendship with Roxas. Could Xemnas has said something to the other members beforehand like "Yea, I know who he looks like, just ignore it and keep your mouths shut around him or kick you down to a Dusk." God, I need to learn to let stuff go.... Hyperwre_2.0 03:03, January 21, 2010 (UTC)
Has anyone else noticed...[edit]
So it is very obvious to me that all of the Organization Members (except Xion) NOT killed in CoM have a lower nobody applied to them and those killed during CoM do not; because of that it seems that the "assigning" may have taken place after the events of CoM, but this most likely unimportant and unprovable. (O.. one more thing, Axel is in-charge of the assassin nobodies, but there is another member, "The Graceful Assassin").
New info in latest interview (BbS spoilers)[edit]
-- There was a new type of keyblade that appeared this time, changing the “key” in keyblade to “X” (The X of the Greek alphabet, pronounced “key”. It also has the meaning of “ultimate” or “death”.) It's quite an excellent name.
Nomura: The name “X-Blade” was Watanabe (Daisuke), the scenario writer's, idea. How the symbol X 'crosses' is symbolic of the crossing of dark and light. The members of Organization XIII get their names by adding an X to the name they had as humans comes from this. Also, the Nobody's mark looks a lot like Eraqus' symbol, but you can probably figure out that the reason this is has something to do with Xemnas. from KHInsider Xoaks 04:06, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
dark portal?[edit]
i was just wondering whats with that dark portal organization XIII always shows up in?

well that was mean.:(
- Sorry, wasn't trying to be. It's just that people put a lot of work into the articles to answer questions just like this, and it's kinda annoying when people don't. Check this page. That ought to answer your question.--Lapis ofthe Night 21:44, February 27, 2010 (UTC)
okay but what i meant was how do they use them.Durrf9 23:47, February 27, 2010 (UTC)
and i already read the article for organization xiii plus i've only finished one game (all i have is a dsi and wii) Durrf9 23:47, February 27, 2010 (UTC)
- As far as I know it's not really explained beyond the fact that they are "on the side of darkness" or something. That's why Riku couldn't use them anymore after he lost the ability to control the darkness in KHII.--Lapis ofthe Night 23:49, February 27, 2010 (UTC)

The X is for X-Blade?[edit]
I don't think that's right. I don't know the exact reason for the X in their names, but I know it's not because of "Xemnas's memories of the X-Blade." Keyblade474 14:59, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
- According to what I know of the the BBS Ultimania (probably misspelled that), it confirms it is because of Xemnas's memories. If someone could fact check that for me, that'd be great.--Otherarrow 16:28, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
You are correct: "One year after BbS, Xehanort as well as five other apprentices toss aside their hearts. Then the Nobody Xemnas was born, and the Organization which he creates take a lot of things from his memories as a human. But as Xemnas had two people who he was, Terra and Master Xehanort, he takes from both of their memories...Xemnas gives Organization members names with an X in them. This has something to do with Master Xehanort's interest in the X-Blade." --Neumannz 17:43, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

Missing Information.[edit]
Hey, people, or rather (hopefully)the people supplying this site with information. I was noticing that, there is missing some information.
I was curious about the Organization XIII, because all these members, are nobodies, except Xion of course.
But I was so curious about who were the persons were from whom these nobodies originate, and I read all the articles until I read the articles of "Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia and Larxene". They all lack the information about their original bodies, and this is, sort of, a vexation.
I'm sorry to bother you about this, and this might not be important, but I still am curious. I, although this small lack of information, find this site a really good information source about one of my favourite games ever.
Keep it up.

{[The origonal names of numbers 9-12 (deymx, luxord, marluxia, and larxene) are never told in the story but you can have fun guessing at what they could be.

Something I noticed.[edit]
It struck me that all the organization members original personas' deaths have been intentional (those we know of that is) Could this somehow be a criteria for becoming a strong nobody?
sorry if I'm being unclear, but I don't know how to phrase it in a better way.

If new powerful nobodies did join together, they probably would not REFORM Org. 13 because they would have no original members; they would just be an completely new group.

Separate Page[edit]
Should we create a new page for the Organization XIII composed of Master Xehanort's incarnations, or should we add it here? --Littleman 23:50, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not sure. Honestly, it might be better to make a second page."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 02:06, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Sounds like a plan. I'll get right on it. I'll even rename this page for good measure. --Littleman 02:25, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- Don't rename it. You can start a draft, but don't rename this article. maggosh 02:38, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Don't fret. This page is remaining as it is. Besides, I don't even know how to rename things. I did, however, create a new page. It isn't too good, but it's better then nothing, I'll tell you that. --Littleman 03:08, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Removed sections[edit]
By the time of Kingdom Hearts II, the actions of Sora, Axel, Riku, and the Riku Replica, in addition to the departure of Roxas, reduced the Organization's roster to eight, which were then slain by Sora one-by-one (with the exception of Axel, who sacrificed himself to allow Sora to go and save Kairi) until only Xemnas remained. Ultimately, Xemnas fell at the hands of Sora and Riku, and Roxas (now a part of Sora once again, but still somewhat independent, as seen in the ending video before the credits) could be considered the sole surviving member. However, as revealed in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Master Xehanort creates a new incarnation of the Organization composed of himself, his incarnations, Xigbar, and Isa. Xemnas - Defeated by Sora and Riku at the end of Kingdom Hearts II. He was trying to dispose of the only threat standing between him and Kingdom Hearts. Disappeared in Darkness in what appears to be a black variation of the white Nobody thorns. He was the thirteenth and final member to fall, but his destruction and that of "Ansem" led to the recreation of Master Xehanort as he revives Xemnas to become a member of the new Organization XIII. Xigbar - Defeated by Sora, Donald, and Goofy in the Hall of Empty Melodies in The World That Never Was. He started the fight to try to prevent Sora and company from ascending any farther up the castle but disappeared into Darkness. He was the ninth member to disappear, yet is recreated to support the new Organization. Xaldin - Defeated by Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Beast at Beast's Castle. He was on a mission to turn the Beast into a Heartless and Nobody. Disappeared into Darkness and wind. Xaldin was the seventh member subject to elimination. Vexen - Defeated by Axel as a way to gain Marluxia's trust. Vexen opposed Marluxia's plot and Marluxia wanted him eliminated. Disappeared by incineration into Darkness. He was the first member to fall. However, he would later become Even once again, due to both he and his respective Heartless meeting their end. Lexaeus - Defeated by Riku while possessed by Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. He was trying to make Riku use the Darkness inside him. From what is shown in the cutscene of his elimination, he was helpless against Ansem, Seeker of Darkness due to his weakened condition after his brutal fight with Riku. He disappeared into Darkness, and was the third member eliminated, eventually reforming Aeleus. Zexion - Defeated by Riku Replica and Axel. Axel wanted no evidence of his actions in Castle Oblivion, so when Zexion was extremely weary from his battle with the real Riku, Axel had the Riku Replica absorb Zexion. He disappeared into gaseous Darkness while engulfed in the Replica's energy. Zexion was the fifth member to fall, which led to the return of Ienzo. Saïx - Defeated by Sora, Donald, and Goofy. He was confronted simply to try to eliminate the last of the Organization. He disappeared into gaseous Darkness. He was the eleventh to be defeated. Though this led to the return of Isa, his memories from his time as Saïx prompt him to join Master Xehanort and support the new Organization XIII. Axel - The only Organization member not killed by anyone. He was eliminated in a sacrificial attack to save Sora from an army of Dusks. Similar to a fire, he seemed to "burn out" into Darkness, resembling ashes. Axel was the eighth member to fall, which led to the return of Lea. Demyx - Defeated, by Sora, Donald, and Goofy. He was one of the few mentionable people destroyed in the Battle of 1,000 Heartless. He confronted Sora and company just for the sake of battling in the war. He disappeared into Darkness and appeared to have boiled up and evaporated. He was the sixth member to disappear. Luxord - Defeated by Sora. He captured Donald, Goofy, Riku, and Kairi, forcing Sora into one of Luxord's "games." Sora was able to beat him by "winning the game" and slashing through his shield of cards. He disappeared into gaseous Darkness. Luxord was the tenth member to be eliminated. Marluxia - Defeated by Sora. He was trying to destroy Sora since he couldn't control him. Marluxia himself is never actually fought, but after Sora destroys a clone, a machine-like Nobody and an angel-like, feminine reaper, all Marluxia's energy is gone and he is beaten. He disappeared attempting to grab Sora in gaseous Darkness in a flurry of flower petals. Marluxia was the fourth member to disappear. Larxene - Defeated by Sora, Donald, and Goofy. She was on a mission to kill Sora after her plan fell apart. She would have succeeded, but an attempt to save Sora by Naminé, Donald, and Goofy gave him the strength to fight back, and Larxene eventually met her end. She disappeared into Darkness. Larxene was the second member to fall. Roxas - Arguably the only surviving member. Roxas permanently sealed himself within Sora just before the final battle with Xemnas, willingly giving up his physical existence. Although he is not gone, he was the twelfth member to "fall". Xion - While technically not an official member, she was still part of the Organization for a while. She was absorbed by Roxas when battling him and then faded away into Roxas. If she was considered a member, she would be the sixth to be defeated.
This kind of "final scorecard" is not only incredibly trivia-ish, but laughably out-of-date and, as of KH3D, totally inaccurate in its intent. The informational content should be retained, but not even Jiminy's Journal keeps a running scorecard of who technically killed which Nobody.
These lesser Nobodies are called Sorcerers, Snipers, Dragoons, Berserkers, Assassins, Dancers, Gamblers, and Samurai. Sorcerer Nobodies are under the command of Xemnas. They float over the ground constantly, possessing a grace much like that of Xemnas, and utilize large cubes of nothingness in several ways. They are the most powerful and rarest of the lesser Nobodies. Sniper Nobodies are controlled by Xigbar and, like him, carry spiky guns that shoot small red crystallized lasers. Dragoon Nobodies are controlled by Xaldin because of his affinity with wind, and possess a singular lance that mirrors the six that he fights with. Berserker Nobodies are under Saïx's power and, as with the previously mentioned lesser Nobodies, hold a weapon identical to that of their master. An observant player will also notice that Berserker Nobodies go through random surges of anger, much like Saïx when he draws upon the power of the moon. Next are the Assassin Nobodies. This group is under Axel's control, capable of becoming a circular form similar to Axel's weapon, hiding away for short periods of time before attacking, and causing powerful explosions. Dancer Nobodies are the most colorful of all the lesser Nobody, featuring bright colors such as orange and pink. They are Demyx's servants and relate to him due to his musical nature. The Gambler Nobodies are under Luxord's rule. Luxord, being a gambler of many things, fights with cards, which they use as well, along with several dice. The final of these lesser Nobodies are Samurai, which Roxas controls. Samurai wield two katana just as Roxas wields two Keyblades, Oblivion and Oathkeeper.
I really do not see why this needs to be a difficult-to-read list on this page, rather than simply going into their table and having the similarities covered on the lesser nobody page.
There are a few major differences between the Nobodies within the Organization and the ones that Sora frequently encounters throughout the game. The average type that Sora fights often have strange features, enhanced speed, metallic skin in shades of white, silver, and blue, and the trademark Nobody symbol (which doubles as the logo for the Organization). The Nobodies that make up the Organization have human forms with limited special powers, revolving around thirteen different elements. One ability shared by all the members is the power to summon an oval, obsidian portal of darkness that leads to the unseen paths of darkness. These portals are known as Corridors of Darkness. The Organization makes use of the paths to move to and from worlds unseen without fear for their well-being compared to those who are attuned with darkness and still have hearts.
...erg.
This group's inclusion to the Kingdom Hearts storyline marks the more mature nature of the Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II storylines, as they introduce the concepts of duplicity among the villains, minor physical abuse, manipulation of sentimental matters and, on some level, real death. A notable example is the Heartless invasion of Hollow Bastion, Organization XIII's doing, which inadvertently incapacitates Goofy for a short time, leading even Sora, Donald Duck, and Mickey to falsely believe that he is dead.
I don't really agree with this, since Maleficent's group was plenty evil and mind-rape seems darker than Goofy getting hit with a rock, but it doesn't belong in the lead anyway since it's about KHII, not the Organization."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 05:16, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Here's some more that I removed as irrelevant to this specific page."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 06:04, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Some members have different looking coats, for example Axel, whose sleeves are tight around his wrists. Upon closer inspection, it can be seen that the hems of each coat are each slightly different, as well as the shoulder pads (such as those of Demyx and Xigbar, which seem to be slightly pointed). Other known characters to wear the coat are King Mickey, Riku, Xehanort's Heartless, and Moogles. Riku obtains his coat from DiZ and it is presumed Mickey also obtains it from him. It is unknown how DiZ or the Moogles obtained them. In the new cutscenes of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, every time a missing member is referred to during a meeting, the camera's focus will shift briefly to that said member's throne (such as when Xaldin reminded Axel that, indirectly, he eliminated the traitors Marluxia and Larxene, the camera briefly shifts to view their thrones. The conversation concerns Axel's orders to destroy Roxas and fittingly enough, Roxas's throne is between theirs). Somewhere in The Castle That Never Was, inaccessible to the player, is the meeting room of the Organization. This area can be accessed with a cheat code, though - the platform with the Organization symbol can be walked on, but none of the thrones can. The game calls the area "Where Nothing Gathers" - suggesting it may have been in the final game as a full area, but was dropped later. In the central tower of The Castle That Never Was, there is a room that is something of a graveyard or a place where beings who can't use the portal to darkness use the doorway-like portals to reach other members of the Organization. This chamber has thirteen portals which lead to a certain area throughout the castle, the portals are placed simultaneously along the walls and glow blue if that specific member is alive but red when that one is dead. Starting from Xemnas's which is actually a path to The Altar of Naught, going downwards are two more, then below them are four and after them are eight with a path cutting half way between the portals. The portals lead to large chambers which are areas that the Organization dwell when they are resting. So far only three are known which are the Altar of Naught, where Xemnas resides and the highest point in the castle, Havoc's Divide which is a large slanted balcony were Luxord resides, and Addled Impasse where Saïx lives, which is a large circular room with a balcony made of glass and looks up towards the moon. Note that for gameplay purposes, the gates to Havoc's Divide and Addled Impasse remain active even after Luxord and Saïx are felled. Also, for the same reasons, Roxas's still-active gate (since he still exists within Sora) is broken and rendered unusable, although it still maintains its blue glow. It may be broken, though, due to the fact that while Roxas still exists in Sora, he does not exist physically. Note that Zexion's tombstone was especially broken to hide his weapon's image, (which was not revealed until the release of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix), although its lettering can still be read. It is unknown if Xion has or ever had a tombstone and portal. Ironically, the founding members Vexen, Lexaeus, and Zexion have the lowest chair heights out of the whole Organization.
Birth by Sleep section[edit]
- We could perhaps create a seperate page for Ansem’s apprentices which leads into Organization XIII. - JTD95 (talk) 16:05, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
- All the events covered in the Secret Ansem Reports and the intro scene to KH3D needs to be on this page, because it is explicitly explained to be critical to the Organization's founding and original purpose."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:13, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
