The Lionheart is a Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
It is gained by beating Leon and Cloud (they fight together) in the Hades Cup in Kingdom Hearts and in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, it is obtained by using the Key to Rewards card in Traverse Town. The Lionheart is probably the most well-balanced Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts, except for the Ultima Weapon. It has mediocre-to-long reach, great attack power and enhances magic and summon power as well. The name is based on Leon's ultimate weapon in Final Fantasy VIII, also called the "Lionheart".
Appearance
The Lionheart's strike zone as well as the keychain possess the same shape as Leon's necklace, Griever.

Trivia
- In the shape of the lion, the Griever was meant to represent heroic traits such as courage, dignity, strength and might.
- As Squall's name could be changed in Final Fantasy VIII, so could Griever as well. Griever was also the name of the Guardian Force that represented part of Squall's mind as well, but was instead summoned by the game's final boss, Ultimecia.
