Tornado (トルネド Torunedo ) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to create a whirlwind that sucks up enemies in its path, leaving them stunned. The direction of the tornado can be controlled.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Tornado is a magic sleight that can be used by Sora. The direction of the tornado can be controlled by the directional pad, or the left analog stick in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. Its card combination is:
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Tornado is an Ultimate magic command exclusive to Ventus. It takes up two slots in the Command Deck, has a maximum level of 6, a normal reload time of 30 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 30%. The tornado can be controlled by using the analog stick.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Tornado is a magic command exclusive to Sora. It uses two slots in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 32 seconds. It grants +3 to Magic when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.

Tornado is an Ultimate-class Magic Command that can be melded through seven different recipes, listed in the Giga Magic Recipe.
- The first recipe can only be melded by Ventus and is a type E recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming from Aerora.

- The second recipe can only be melded by Ventus and is a type M recipe that has a 10% chance of transforming from Aeroga.
- Aero (LV3) and Aerora (LV3)
- The third recipe can only be melded by Ventus and is a type G recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming from Aerora.
- Aero (LV2) and Quick Blitz (LV2)
- The fourth recipe can only be melded by Ventus and is a type I recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming from Aerora.
- Aero (LV2) and Thunder (LV2)
- The fifth recipe can only be melded by Ventus and is a type N recipe.
- Aeroga (LV4) and Magnega (LV4)
- The sixth recipe can only be melded by Ventus and is a type N recipe that has a 10% chance of transforming from Aeroga.
