I apologize if this move seems sudden and uncalled for; revert if necessary. But we've been wanting to do something like this to deal with the various gauge articles for a long time. I started this in my userspace, and it received a lot of attention. Now it's time we finish the article up. The only logical thing to do in my mind was to bring it to mainspace.
