Ariel made her debut in Kingdom Hearts. With Sora's help, they defeated the sea witch Ursula. In Chain of Memories, she serves as a memory of Sora. In Kingdom Hearts II, she has an unusual role, as Atlantica is a musical about Ariel and Prince Eric.
