Nimble Gear+ ④ (Marluxia) |
The Faithless Digitalis is a Scythe that can be wielded by Marluxia in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to Faithless Digitalis+.
Design
The Faithless Digitalis has a curved, light green handle with a small, yellow section near its base and a flat, black pommel. The shaft of the blade is cross-shaped and resembles the upper half of the Nobody logo. While it is predominantly black with silver edges, but the arm of the cross opposite the blade is flat and yellow. The lower half of the main blade curves upward at its tip and its outer edge is lined by three semi-circular indentations. This part of the blade is purple with silver edges. The upper half of the blade is not actually bladed at all, but rather is a rounded, yellow protrusion with silver edges. The blade of the Faithless Digitalis bears a resemblance to Lexaeus’s Skysplitter Axe Sword.
Digitalis is a fairly small genus of flowers. "Faithless" can mean "without faith" or "disappointing".
Gameplay
Faithless Digitalis has the same ground combo as Pseudo Silene, one of Marluxia's other scythes. It is a swing to the left, swing to the right, a slash upward, and a finisher involving a slice down at the ground. The aerial combo is also the same as Pseudo Silene in that it is a simple slice to the left, resulting in Marluxia doing a small spin.
