Gale (吹き荒れる Fukiareru , lit. "Roaring") renamed "Gust" (吹きすさぶ Fukisusabu , lit. "Raging") in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, is a material type available in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Gale materials contain a howling wind frozen in crystalline form.
Design
Gale materials are represented by jewels with an Elemental material structure. They are blue in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
All of the various names of the material reflect the "essence of howling winds" it contains. A gust and gale are short and strong blasts of wind, respectively, while "roaring" and "raging" are words often used to describe strong winds.
