The Play Arts Figures are a set of officially-licensed action figures for Kingdom Hearts, and are part of Square-Enix's much larger Play Arts Figures set. So far, three offical sets based on Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II have been released.

Series One Figures

Each figure is fully articulated and comes with one or two props related to the game, especially weapons. The figures were released as follows:

In addition, four special edition figures of Sora were released, one for each of his Drive Forms.

A fifth special edition figure from Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+, was released later:

In August 2008, a set of five extra Keyblades, called Play Arts Arms were released to go with the existing Play Arts Figures or to display separately. The collection includes:

Series Two Figures

This series features characters in there original KH1 designs, the released figures are as follows:

  • 1. Sora in his standard outfit from the first KH game, with Kingdom Key.
  • 2. Riku in his standard outfit from the first KH game, with Soul Eater.
  • 3. King Mickey in his organization cloak, with the inverted Kingdom Key.

Series Three Figures

This set features more characters in KH1 style. They are as follows:

Series Four Figures

This set has been revealed at Tokyo Expo in France. This set has gone back to featuring KH2 style characters. The only two (Currently un-painted) characters revealed are:


  • Sora in his Christmas Town outfit from KH2FM, with the Decisive Pumpkin Keyblade.
  • King Mickey in his standard outfit from KH2, with the inverted Kingdom Key.
