 I can't see it too clearly, so I may just be seeing things, but it looks like the Symphony Master's instruments play to the tune of the respective instruments in the battle theme. By that I mean the drumsticks seem to beat on the drum at the same time as the drumbeats in the battle theme. It looks like this might be true for the violin, but I can't tell about the other instrument. Am I just seeing things?

 It could be possible that the battle music is just a theme and the music itself is made by the Symphony Master, but i would not know because i do not have BbS.
