I'm going to try and check my FM version tonight, but its hard to load, so if anyone can check before then it would be awesome: The katakana are probably incorrect. I've seen two alternate spellings on multiple Japanese walkthrough sites, which either use ウギー・ブギー or ブギー, but not the Uugii Buugii that we have here. I'm probably going to have to go through and correct all the katakana, because a lot of them look made up.Glorious CHAOS! 11:07, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

What's on the page is the transliteration used in The Nightmare Before Christmas (my fault), but I encourage somebody to check since I've seen some inconsistencies in transliterations regarding KH and NBC (for example, "Halloween Town" is "ハロウィンタウン" in KH but "ハロウィーン・タウン" in NBC).—Urutapu 17:02, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

I looked up the type of amnesia he had and it says a cause is brain damage. He probably got it when he was killed in the first game.

Something that has been bothering meEdit

It appears Kingdom Hearts haven't got Oogie's design right. His sack is a bright greyish in the game, but anyone who has seen The Nightmare Before Christmas knows that here, this sack is green. If no one objects I shall add it to the trivia.(Bananaphone1996 07:51, May 7, 2010 (UTC))

It's a regular burlap sack in the movie (and the PS2 sequel), but it has a green tinge so that it would be able to glow in the dark.Glorious CHAOS! 04:25, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

Scar's a lion and he succumbed to it. Every living (and many apparently unliving) thing in KH has a heart that can be corrupted, with a couple of exceptions like Nobodies, Ven, Vanitas, and the PoH.LapisLazuliScarab06:41, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

That Oogie Boogie will be coming back in future installmets. I keep trying to get rid of that statement, and someone keeps bringing it back. The only reason he came back last time was Maleficent brought him back. If she didn't, he would still be dead. And Maleficent won't ever bring Oogie Boogie back due to how he treated her.

That last sentence there is probably why your edit is being reverted. It's 100% speculation.

Reading the trivia point, it would be perfectly in line with TNBC canon for Oogie to come back, so there's no real reason he couldn't.

It's a pretty vague statement. Any villain could come back if Maleficent wanted them to, i.e. it's not something unique to Oogie. Doesn't that make it un-trivia worthy?

Probably. I think it started off as "Donald squished the brain bug, so he is gone forever", and people tried to correct it from there.

But why would Maleficent bring back Oogie when he was such a jackass to her? Isn't that the only way he can come back? And that 'Brain Bug' statement is starting to get to me. What makes everyone think this was his brain bug. It was no different to the millions of other bugs inside him. Any one of those bugs could have been his brain bug, so how do we know that was his brain bug?

"Optional" boss?Edit
