Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Having just beat this behemoth on Proud, I figured I should share what I know, so people have a little more than "luck" to go off of. Taking lots of curative magic is an excellent idea, as mentioned, as is ignoring the Tentaclaws. Killing the Leechgrave depends on consistent good timing. Mobility is vital: take Air Slide, at level 2 at least. I used a weapon with superior air combos... ground combos may work, but don't take a weapon that reduces mobility. Dodge Roll seemed to work well also, but I couldn't time it as well. Get close to it and run away. This teases out its nasty melee attack. Once it does that attack, it won't do it again for about 5 seconds... enough time for a full combo with the Keyblade. It will likely do that attack again, so run away, and attack again once the attack's done. Reasons to stop attacking the get the hell out: if you notice that it's going to attack, if it makes a poison cloud, if it turns the back of the coffin toward you, or if any Tentaclaws appear close to the coffin. If it's been more than a few seconds since your last attack, tease out the attack again before charging in. Don't Limit Break! You'll probably get killed by the melee attack if you do. Keep your health up instead. If you're low on life, you can use Cura and sit behind the gate--it's perfectly safe there. --98.223.106.72 05:59, October 8, 2009 |
