::I don't think it's safe to assume this is the kraken. Regardless of this being "''KH''-canon," it doesn't make sense for the kraken to be alive at this point in the ''Pirates'' timeline, to which ''KH'' seems to be staying faithful despite skipping ''Dead Man's Chest''. At most, we can say the kraken is a design influence, but these are just random tentacles used for boss attacks. To say they belong to the kraken is presumptuous and inaccurate. I am firmly against calling this the kraken, using the term in our articles, or even using it for the name of an article. This page should be moved to "Tentacle," as per the Ultimania, and our moves of "Sulley" to "James P. Sullivan," "Randall" to "Randall Boggs," etc. - {{User:EternalNothingnessXIII/Sig}} 16:41, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
:::I agree. It's still possible this is supposed to be the Kraken, but it hasn't been called that, so we shouldn't name the page that. Though I think we should call it "Tentacle'''s'''", plural, because there's more than one tentacle. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 17:30, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
:::::TSH, can you post scans of the pages describing The Caribbean, Tentacles/Davy Jones, Luxord, Wheel of Fate, and the Flying Dutchman?{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 17:51, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
:::I'm with TSH. Rename this page "Tentacle'''s'''." That said, we should also remove "Kraken" from the character section of the Caribbean page. For the image, we should use the "render" provided in the Ultimania. I've seen it in scans, but I can't seem to find it at the moment... - {{User:EternalNothingnessXIII/Sig}} 17:59, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
::::::I can, but I don't have time for that today. The enemy page doesn't use a render for the Kraken, but a close-up screenshot. Same for some of the characters, like Tia Dalma, Gibbs, and Beckett by the way. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 18:48, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
:::::::I meant more that I wanted to peruse them to determine how it talks about the Kraken.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 19:17, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
:::::Regarding the screenshot, then, we can just extract the image of the tentacles. But that's another discussion. Let's focus on settling this darn "kraken name usage" thing. - {{User:EternalNothingnessXIII/Sig}} 19:19, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
[https://i.imgur.com/TJjx3v6.jpg Davy Jones's mini-bio] in the Ultimania ''does'' call it the Kraken (クラーケン), so it should stay where it is. Maybe use "tentacles" for a boss suite or something? ::It's gonna take some time, but I'm not sure that profile actually makes it clear it's talking about the boss fight.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 20:10, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
:::My point exactly. Aside from the term's appearance, unless the Ultimania specifically says "Jones unleashes the Kraken upon Sora and his friends," or something of that nature, it is '''WRONG''' to use the term to refer to what appears in ''KHIII''. Only tentacles are seen, and it is unclear whether they belong to the kraken or are just energy. Both the ''Pirates'' bios and "Tentacles" boss page should be translated, for safety. - {{User:EternalNothingnessXIII/Sig}} 22:35, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
::::[https://imgur.com/a/vF4u11l Here are pictures of the pages related to the Kraken]. I think the Kraken is only mentioned in the bio, referring to the events of the second movie, like how the Kraken is mentioned in the game. In which case, we should consider the Kraken a mentioned character and the boss as a separate entity. But maybe there's something on the other pages. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 13:12, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
:::::My money is on what you said: the Kraken is a referenced character for context, '''NOT''' the boss. Until and unless we are able to confirm otherwise (the Ultimania pages in question should be translated ASAP), I do not think we should be using the term to address what we fight in ''KHIII''. To say they are the same would be wrong.  - {{User:EternalNothingnessXIII/Sig}} 13:49, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
::::::As far as I can tell, the pages TSH provided me do not explicitly call the Tentacles part of the Kraken. There may be a vague reference (Kraken's description is "giant sea monster" in character sections, Tentacles could be referred to as such?), but I haven't found it yet. To be clear, I haven't seen anything that specifies what the Tentacles ''are''. I'm also waiting to see if there are pages that go over the events in the world from an episode PoV (showing gameplay and story for that section) or not.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 16:28, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
