Talk:Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Page move[edit]
I think this will need to be moved since official press materials have ditched the colon since last time. It's now just Re Mind rather than Re:Mind. --Samoa Joe (talk) 18:11, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- Yup, we should move it. LightKeyDarkBlade (talk) 16:19, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
Playable characters[edit]
Should we mention specifically who is confirmed to be playable or just not mention it at all—Preceding unsigned comment added by Keybladefan0204 (talk • contribs)
- Not yet. I mean, technically we know - mostly - but KH trailers have been really unreliable in the past when it comes to showing the final product, even ones quite close to the release date. I recall one of the later KH2 trailers showed Roxas gameplay where had the Drive meter and Drive option in the menu enabled, but obviously that never happened. That's why we have this rule. It may seem arcane at times - being behind on information everyone else had - but in our cases, we never had to re-confirm twice over it. >:3 It's a situation of better safe than sorry I think. So when it comes to pre-release information, we stick to stuff from official press releases and interviews. --Samoa Joe (talk) 05:12, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
Symbol on Logo[edit]
I believe the symbol for ReMind is called a Coda symbol. Am I mistaken? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Keybladefan0204 (talk • contribs)
- Correct, but unfortunately there isn't a text symbol for it so we can't place it on the actual wiki text. --Samoa Joe (talk) 13:37, 10 January 2020 (UTC)
- 𝄌 I mean, technically you can, its just too small to be actually seen. UnknownCheisā —— Who is this '4 chan' hacker? 22:08, 10 January 2020 (UTC)
- You could use a workaround and upload it as an image file and embed it in the text, like we do with gamepad buttons...but that's an issue in and of itself since different folks use different font sizes in their browsers. Mobile browsers automatically rescale too, so the coda will end up too big or too small with no way to tweak it from a user's end. But I mean honestly, it's not that big of a deal. It's not like official press materials and stuff emphasize the coda... --Samoa Joe (talk) 13:00, 11 January 2020 (UTC)

Free Content[edit]
I am uploading this here, for I don't know if this is supposed to be here? Delete if needed.
In january 2020 there will be the Re-Mind update, along with a free update with new content. Square says:
"To be updated in January
Fans of KINGDOM HEARTS III will be able to receive a brand-new DLC package free of charge when they download the version 1.07 update of the main game.
This Free DLC includes:
A main story update Newly added abilities Keyblades Oathkeeper and Oblivion + new formchanges added (In-game requirements in KINGDOM HEARTS III to acquire Keyblades) Expanded Sharing Features"
- We know all this. Plus, that content isn't a part of the expansion. --Samoa Joe (talk) 21:06, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
Limitcut section rewrites[edit]
I don't like the Revision as of 16:16, February 4, 2022 by User:Sora34CE. In my opinion, that edit oversimplified what Sora's allies were said to be doing during the timeskip. I worked really hard to write that description back in early 2020, and I'm dissatisfied with it being rewritten such. I added this issue to the talk section of the article instead of just undoing the edit because I don't want to start an endless chain of two editors constantly rewriting each others' work on an article due to a personal disagreement in what it should say. I just think it deserves further discussion. --Wikipirate (talk) 18:25, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
I see that User:Sora34CE recently edited the article back to how it was, which I appreciate. I think it should be safe for me to update the section a bit more now. I hope it sits well with the editing community. --Wikipirate (talk) 16:34, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
