::I'd sooner accept printed materials. For instance, the US manual uses "KINGDOM HEARTS CHAIN OF MEMORIES" (Link Features, p.25, BradyGames ad, p.31), and the US ''Days'' manual does not title it with a colon (rather, "KINGDOM HEARTS CHAIN OF MEMORIES" as a header with the subtitle in smaller font). Further, http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom/khcom/index.html uses ALL-CAPS and no colon. If anything, the colon is an anomaly, so far only seen in few of multitude renditions of SQEX websites. If anything, it's the capitalization I might waver on, since "CHAIN OF MEMORIES", while official by the logo and media, has also been seen in regular capitalization, even so recently as in ''KH3D'' (which in the same screen lists ''Re:coded'' rather than ''coded''). However, I would insist that initialisms be "KHCOM" rather than "KH:COM" or "KH:CoM", especially as the latter only applies to Re:CoM, as seen here: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom/kh2fm/index.html -- note that this also displays "''KINGDOM HEARTS II Final Mix''", as part of the "KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX+" package, whereas the English release of that game renders it with "FINAL MIX" in ALL-CAPS, despite its very logo using normal capitalization [EDIT: To its credit, though, the JP 2.5 page uses this discrepancy, too: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom/khhd2/#kh2]. To flit back to initialisms, it's bizarre how often I've been "BBS" and "Re:Coded"/"Re: Coded", yet "CoM" instead of "COM". | ::I'd sooner accept printed materials. ::tl;dr - If we're gonna play by SQEX's wonky rules, let's try to get within the same sporting field? ::::Why not just use whatever name is in 3D? I don't see why we're mincing details with the mmanuals for other games.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 14:11, 19 March 2015 (UTC) | ::::Why not just use whatever name is in 3D? I haven't played 3D, but I believe it's just labeled by subtitle, not the whole game title ("Chain of Memories" instead of "Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories" or "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories"). However, the [http://www.kingdomhearts.com/hd15remix/home/ HD 1.5 ReMIX website], [http://www.kingdomhearts.com/ HD 2.5 ReMIX website], and [http://archive.na.square-enix.com/kh3d/about.php Dream Drop Distance website] title the game without a colon (Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories). I still believe, like I did almost two years ago when I first opened the subject, that the actual title is "Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories" (without a colon), and the colon is a fluke of a few locations. It does appear that the title without a colon appears more often than the title with a colon. {{KeybladeSpyMaster/Sig}} 17:36, 19 March 2015 (UTC) | I haven't played 3D, but I believe it's just labeled by subtitle, not the whole game title ("Chain of Memories" instead of "Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories" or "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories").
