nakashimariku - The shadows are coming! Are you prepared for the worst? TALK - If not, too bad! Most of the info in this article is false. The Heartless don't use the Keyholes or the gates to travel between worlds, they use the corridors of darkness. Also, Sora doesn't close the gates, he opens them so that he, Donald and Goofy can travel to the next world.

Anyone care to edit the article ? Because I'm lost. By the way, doesn't this article need pictures ? I've been searching for the crown images at least, but I can't find any. I have WMM but I'll have to download every single video of the sealings before I can join them. @HOO : A vid is nice, no doubt, but if you're planning to have all the sealings, that won't be possible. A max of 4 vids per page. If we can combine the sealings, like, say, in one image, like what we did for the Keyholes, that's also good. This monster... This is no Unversed. I can only assume this is a Gate, so shouldn't this be added to the article? Or am I completely missing the premise, and it's just a fancy portal? I always thought Gates allowed access to other worlds...

TALK - It's nice to have darkness on my side.{{{time}}} Gates open paths to other worlds but i'm not saure if that is a Gate since at first it has a kayhole shape then it create a portal that is similar to an used early in BBS to go to other worlds

Missing Gate Images, part 2

So I was browsing through the KH vids in my possession and I have one question : Which should we use ? The crown images on the ground (when Sora starts opening), or the images of the objects (the ones that trigger the gate) proper ? The Lanes Between

Is it just me or does BBS make out the coridoors of darkness and these things to be the exact same thing?66.56.199.131 03:09, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

Nope. The corridors are only usable by Vanitas and Xehanort, while the Lanes are...well, those little glowing paths between worlds are an actual thing, apparently, and not just for navigation.Who needs a dream? Who needs ambition? 03:17, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

First Paragraph...

The first paragraph states that in Kingdom Hearts the gates were locked leaving no way to get to the other worlds, but Sora Donald and Goofy traveled to other worlds. Could someone please explain this to me please?? {{SUBST:User:Dbdbzdbgtwoo/sig2}} 21:04, November 29, 2010 (UTC)

Heartless and the Gates

Here is what Yen Sid tells Sora about Gates in the beginning of KHII: Yen Sid: If what the King suspected proves true, the world have prepared new pathways along which you may travel. These pathways may be utilized by unlocking special gates. How these gates are opened, I'm afraid I do not know... However, the Keyblade will serve as your guide. When a beam of light radiates from the Keyblade, return to the Gummi Ship. Though the worlds may seem far apart and out of reach, they nonetheless remain connected by invisible ties. As do our hearts. Sora: Our hearts are connected. [Duh!] Yen Sid: That is correct. Sora: Got it. Yen Sid: But be warned. As you proceed... The Heartless and the Nobodies will be using their own paths: Corridors of darkness, to travel from world to world. The may be attempting to link these dark pathways to the gates between the worlds. This is how I interpret this: The pathways between the gates are the gummi routes. Heartless and Nobodies use Corridors of Darkness (not their own Gates as stated in the article) to get to the different worlds, but they can also link these corridors to the gummi routes which explains the presence of the heartless and nobody gummi enemies.
