Funky Bunch[edit]
What evidence is there that the funky bunch are all dandelions? Couldn't they just be holograms like the foretellers are at this point?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- There are many issues here, mostly because nothing of this sorts is outright confirmed by either KHX or UX. The gist of it is that in the original browser game the player never joined the Dandelions and most the funky bunch (meaning all but girl #1 and #2) turned into Darklings or disappeared otherwise (see here) during the 3rd Anniversary event while they were hunting Crystals of Light. We don't see them again, the Keyblade War starts and the players is "rescued" by Ephemer and Skuld. Enter UX.
- Because Back Cover and the newer Union Cross scenes we know that the player is actually re-living all previous events in a dream, most likely the same dream Ava wants to send her Dandelion players for special training, and only the five Union Leaders including Chirithy are aware.
- Here comes the biggest leap of logic: Since the Foretellers and their Unions are gone and only the Union Leaders of the Dandelions survived, it's implied that the player is now part of the Dandelions too and since the events in the dream change ever so slightly, this could also be the case for the funky bunch. Since the Foretellers actions didn't change, they are probably part of the dream (and not illusions) but maybe that's just splitting hairs since it's basically a dream of holograms or maybe even a hologram of a dream of holograms when we consider Maleficent.
- Considering the fact that this is the fifth year of KHX's story arc I think there is a big chance we might never know in the end and maybe it's not even important since these players still didn't get names. --ShardofTruth 17:47, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- The latest Japanese update shed further light on the data situation. What has been said previously is true, that those who remain as of KHUX are meant to only be the Dandelions. As far as past events that took place in KHX it was never really clarified what happened there apart from that Player would re-experience the past until a certain point and then they would progress into the future. I suppose we can assume the figures of the past were generated using the data they left behind, similarly to what "The Darkness" said to Maleficent about entering a world of data, which can be accessed via the Book of Prophecies (once again linking it to the Datascape). The recent update involved Ephemer essentially creating the PvP system (referred to as Shift Pride) - however rather than having the Dandelions fight each other they would instead access the individual data of the Dandelions recorded as a result of them visiting the data worlds, thereby preventing any infighting. This suggests that the other Dandelions we encounter are actually there, at least in Daybreak Town. I hope this helps clear up any confusion about the Dandelions, I will be adding Elrena to this page as well. (Levi657 (talk) 12:55, 23 November 2018 (UTC))
Transparency Request[edit]
Could someone please isolate the Keyblade wielder from Quest 730? His entire Party died at the hands of the Shipwreck Shark and he warned Player and his Party not to go onto the beach. I lack the knowhow to create a transparent image myself. (Levi657 (talk) 12:48, 3 March 2019 (UTC))
- Isn't that the one whose friend fought the Large Snowman?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:57, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- This guy was already uploaded, see here, that why I deleted your image. --ShardofTruth 21:30, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- No, those two I actually removed from the Dandelions page because they were introduced pre-Keyblade War and we haven't seen them since, this guy is introduced post-Keyblade War in Quest 750 (or something like that) where he warns Player and his Party not to go onto the beach because there is a Monster there that had killed his entire Party. He wields Olympia (2nd Upgrade). And thank you for your guidance ShardofTruth, sorry about the unnecessary upload. (Levi657 (talk) 14:22, 4 March 2019 (UTC))
- Those two are introduced in KHUX, I thought. They should be on Dandelions."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:58, 4 March 2019 (UTC)
- I believe they were introduced in KHUX, I can't remember them in KHX. I suppose since KHUX takes place after the Keyblade War you could argue that they are Dandelions and our interactions with them are the first instance of time being copied over with different events. It's probably just my mistake, I was thinking more toward the fact that they appear before and not after the Keyblade War was supposed to happen, rather then when KHUX take place as a whole.
