Possible journal error?[edit]

On the first and second Kingdom hearts game, Chip and Dale are said to be "partners", the original Chip and Dale are said to be partners as well, and now on BbS they're brothers? What mattered most Oblivion Keychain KHII.png was remembered least

As far as I know, it's never been confirmed one way or another by Disney. We know that they have a common grandfather, so they are related, but we don't know for sure that they're brothers. I think it's best to go with brothers, however, because of the BbS journal... and partners can be brothers too, so assuming that they're brothers doesn't make the first journals incorrect. yeah but on KHII's Journal it's said "pal" and as far as I know pal is associated with "friend". I could be wrong, though. What mattered most Oblivion Keychain KHII.png was remembered least
As Soxra said, people can be partners or pals with their siblings. They can be both brothers and friends/coworkers simultaneously. This isn't complicated. The BBS Journal was just a bit more specific than the other ones.LapisLazuliScarab15:34, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
Ah, I see. Sorry then, my bad. What mattered most Oblivion Keychain KHII.png was remembered least

Chip and Dale Cards?[edit]

I'm wondering about the Chip and Dale cards for the Trading Card Game. Isn't this page supposed to be with that one? Just want to know if theres a specific reason before I change it. (Plus I don't know how) Ologoyo (talk) 19:16, 18 June 2017 (UTC)Ologoyo

The Chip & Dale TCG card is covered on Card:Chip & Dale. TheSilentHero 19:45, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

Fragmentary Passage?[edit]

When did Chip and Dale appear in Fragmentary Passage?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:01, 14 December 2018 (UTC)

They don't physically, it was just a reference to prove that Aqua, canonically, was the one who ate the ice cream, therefore, Chip and Dale canonically congratulated her and were in her flashback off-screen. If you think the storylink is unnecessary, then you can remove it. I added it because I was struggling to think of a way to mention in-universe that despite the possibility for Chip and Dale to congratulate Terra/Ven, they did not canonically. I'm not used to writing in-universe (this is the first wiki where I've had to deal with this) and hate doing it because I struggle in these situations. Soroxas (talk) 19:33, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
It's canonically confirmed because the third person to get there gets the cutscene, and the Trinity Record explicitly says Aqua went to Disney Town last. It's already covered on the other articles referencing this and doesn't require anything external to BbS.
Writing in-universe helps keep meta navel-gazing from going overboard, and helps discourage the kind of script regurgitation that you see on most shounen wikis. I'm not going to name names, don't want to start drama, but look at a standard animanga wiki and it's often a line-by-line regurgitation that never explains what all these contrived terms actually mean. As a rule of thumb -- just write things as if you were Jiminy. He wouldn't quote things line by line, he'd go over the import of the scenes, and make it understandable to the reader."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:42, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
I forgot about the BBS Trinity Record timeline, it slipped my mind while researching these two chipmunks, so I'll just remove the 0.2 storylink. Soroxas (talk) 21:07, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
