Name

Does anybody here know wether or not the Beast has an actual name? And if he does, who here thinks that that should be the name of the article.(Bananaphone1996 05:47, April 18, 2010 (UTC))

In the Disney movie canon, Beast's real name is Prince Adam. In Kingdom Hearts media, however, he has never been given a real name, and we go only by what's confrimed in Kingdom Hearts. That's why, for example, Zack's article is just "Zack" here, instead of "Zack Fair" like in Final Fantasy.--Lapis ofthe Night 06:05, April 18, 2010 (UTC)

Beast using Corridor of Darkness

Looks like my summer vacation is ... over. — 04:56, July 31, 2010 (UTC) Is it possible that Beast used a Corridor of Darkness to get from his castle to Hollow Bastion when it was destroyed in KHI? Beast claims it was his love for Belle that brought him there and Nomura stated that Beast (and DiZ) could use Corridors of Darkness because their strong feelings (this can be found in the Corridor of Darkness section in the 'Universe of Kingdom Hearts' article). I'm gonna put that in the Trivia section. If anyone objects just say so and change it.

I'm almost thinking it was Riku in Kingdom Hearts, but I'm not entirely sure.

where did we get prince adam from again?

I don't know, I did a control + F "Adam" on KH2 and KH Days script, no results. If we can't find a source for Adam, then we should forget the move and delete all mentions of "Adam" on this article. Soroxas (talk) 18:16, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

Regarding suggested move

Wouldn't it be better to have this page be Beast and then have a separate page for Prince as they are two different physical compositions similar to Riku and Riku-Ansem, Terra and Terra-Xehanort, Ansem SoD and Robed Figure? - JTD95 (talk) 18:19, 7 May 2019 (UTC)

The key is whether they are, in essence, different and separate beings/characters, not just their physical appearance. So, for example, Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and Robed Figure are the same being, and should be on the same page, while Terra and Terra-Xehanort are not. I'm at work, so I can't check if that's how the pages are set up, but that's how they should be. So, since the Beast and Prince are the same person, they should share the same page. Page move

I would like an agreement to be met regarding the page's move to Prince as this move request has been sitting here for a long while. As I understand the basis of the move is that since the Beast's true identity is that of the Prince (which he is officially named in KHUX), and that since this is the identity he last appears as in the story, the page should be moved to Prince. Though it should also be noted that his most recent appearance in a released title is as the Beast in Melody of Memory, which was not the case when the move request was added. Thoughts? If we follow the rules, it should be moved. And I don't think his appearance in MoM counts, as the characters don't really "appear" in the story. However, I feel it would be weird to call it Prince, because the character is mostly known as Beast. He only appears as a human in the credits in KH2 and at the end of the Beast's Castle story in KHUX (and a filler quest where you go back). But I suppose rules are rules, and we should follow them. Alright I was just about to move the page but then it occurred to me that The Prince exists, and since it'd be kind of weird having a "Prince" page and a "The Prince" page, maybe we want to add a disambiguation? Pureautism (talk) 04:45, 1 April 2022 (UTC)

I think having a "Prince" and "The Prince" page is better than something like "Prince (Beast's Castle)" and "Prince (Dwarf Woodlands)". There's already a disambig page for Princes, so we can just put that in the youmay at the top. TheSilentHero 16:36, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
