Kingdom Hearts Reversi

Kingdom Hearts Reversi (キングダム ハーツ リバーシ, Kingudamu Hātsu Ribāshi), also written as KH Reversi, is a mini-game application available through Kingdom Hearts Mobile. It is a Kingdom Hearts-themed version of the board game reversi.

Kingdom Hearts Reversi was released on January 21, 2010, the final mini-game added to the mobile service. It was discontinued on April 30, 2013 along with the rest of Kingdom Hearts Mobile.

Mechanics

The gameplay of Kingdom Hearts Reversi is identical to that of the traditional reversi board game. There are three game modes: Challenge Mode, which gives random opponents of increasing difficulty; Free Mode, which allows the player to choose the opponent and difficulty; and Battle with Friends, which is a multiplayer match using infrared communication.

There are three difficulties available at the start: Easy, Normal, and Hard. After winning ten games on Hard difficulty, the Extreme difficulty is unlocked. Free Mode keeps a tally of the number of wins, losses, and draws against each character on each difficulty.

There are eight worlds, each with two characters to choose from: Destiny Islands with Riku and Kairi, Traverse Town with Leon and Yuffie, Wonderland with Alice and the Queen of Hearts, Olympus Coliseum with Hercules and Cloud, Agrabah with Aladdin and Jafar, Neverland with Peter Pan and Captain Hook, Hollow Bastion with the Beast and Maleficent, and Castle Oblivion with Axel and Marluxia. Destiny Islands is unlocked by default, and the other worlds and characters must be met in Challenge Mode before they can be selected in Free Mode.
