As Limit Form can be used without either of Sora's party members, it is especially useful in solo fights such as the [[Battle of the 1000 Heartless]] as well as the boss fight against {{ns|Game|Roxas}}. Its Limits can deal considerable damage while also healing Sora. It boasts powerful ground combo finishers, which can be augmented with [[Combo Boost]], making the [[Decisive Pumpkin]] Keyblade an excellent choice to pair with this form.

As this form is exclusive to ''Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix'', it is recommended to make use of all the additions that are exclusive to the ''Final Mix'' version to level up Limit Form, such as the Cavern of Remembrance, where there is an abundance of Heartless, and in the Treasure Room in Agrabah, where Mushroom No. 5 can be found. The latter is recommended as it has the benefit of a nearby Save Point, and can always use it to return to the World Map if Sora's Drive Gauge is low. The Battle of the 1000 Heartless can also be a very effective place to level up the form. An alternative means of leveling the form form is to go to the Altar of Naught after Sora has defeated Xemnas's first form. Exiting the Altar of Naught will lead to Ruin and Creation's Passage, and by using Limit Form when the Nobodies appear, Limits can be used until all Nobodies in the top area leading to the Altar of Naught are defeated, or Sora's MP gauge runs out. Re-entering the Altar of Naught will immediately fill up the Drive Gauge if Sora is still in Limit Form, and as such, this tactic can be repeated for a simple way to level up Limit Form. Note that this strategy doesn't work as well on [[Critical Mode]] as Sora takes more damage and IS NOT invincible during these Limit attacks. The best way to level Limit Form on Critical Mode is to return to the [[Treasure Room]] in Agrabah, where [[Mushroom XIII No. 5]] is found. Begin the duel and return to the stairs, but don't leave the area, and start using Sonic Rave. You can get two uses of this with one MP bar, but after one use, use an [[Ether]] to fully restore the MP Gauge. At Form Level 1, 3 limit attacks is all it takes to level up to 2. This is a consistent strategy for leveling.

Another huge strategy for leveling Limit Form is waiting until the Battle of the 1000 Heartless. By relying on Limit Form in that fight, you can easily jump to form level 5 or 6 and obtain the Lucky Lucky and Dodge Roll LV2 ability.


The best places to train Limit Form are the battle with Mushroom [[No. 5]] in Agrabah, which is near a Save Point (and where Sonic Rave can be spammed without locking onto it so that the form duration doesn't decrease when not hitting any targets), [[Ruin and Creation's Passage]], which contains many Nobodies and is adjacent to the [[Altar of Naught]], allowing Sora to quickly revert and refill his Drive Gauge, and the [[Battle of the 1000 Heartless]], where Sora can unleash an immense amount of Limits due to the huge quantity of Heartless quickly refilling his MP and Drive Gauges.
In "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix", there is a useful glitch. If you set an Ether to your shortcut, and then use a Limit attack (i.e, Sonic Rave) immediately after, the attack will carry out before the Ether is used, and the Ether will restore the lost MP. This is a useful strategy that quickly gets 3 limits out of one MP gauge.
