Article description: (description )This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | You remember Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories right? Released in North America December 2, 2008, a remake of the Game Boy Advance game Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, the Japanese version was packaged with Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+. It was originally going to be a Japanese only game like the Final Mixes, but we got it due to popular demand. However, what if they never changed their mind? What if they never relented to the fans? What if Re:Chain of Memories was never released in America? We all know that the English version of Re:CoM was the debut of Derek Stephen Prince as Vexen, Dave Boat as Lexaeus, Vincent Corazza as Zexion, Keith Ferguson as Marluxia, and Shanelle Grey as Larxene. If they were never cast as the Castle Oblivion Organization, who would voice them in later games such as Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days? They didn't get any speaking roles other than the text cutscenes, except for Zexion in Xion's nightmare. Would they use their Japanese voices when you play as them in Mission Mode? But what about Zexion in Xion's nightmare? Would that scene be turned into a text cutscene? Would it be omitted from the story? Would they have Zexion's Japanese voice actor speaking Engrish? Would they mute Zexion's voice? Or maybe they would hire someone other than Vincent Corazza for Zexion's English voice? What's going to happen with Even and Aeleus' voices in Birth by Sleep and Aeleus and Ienzo's voices in Dream Drop Distance? Any thoughts and ideas about what would happen in a world without an English Re:Chain of Memories? SeanWheeler 13:43, 1 October 2012 |
