The lustful enticement that the X-Blade offers has drawn more foes to the Badlands, and the battle is getting bad indeed. The desires of hearts of darkness to reclaim and drown the worlds in blackness, and the opposing hearts of light who wish for, perhaps, the opposite, now clash here. But these are a special people--now drawn are warriors with strength unheard of, and even some who were drawn here from the very edge of existence. As these special characters do battle in the mysterious and equally unique Fissure, only eight of them shall cross the lands again.

I love Marly, I really do (and personally I always thought he was bi, but that's just my opinion. Please don't bite off my head for it) But I've always respected Namine, both as a good character and also as one of a very few female video game characters that doesn't make me ashamed to be female myself.
