I just started a new forum here, so that anyone who has any suggestions to make improvements or notices any problems with colors, or anything of that nature can come here and place them. Remember, be honest, and constructive criticism is always welcome. Also, be sure to thank Erry and SilverCrono (and whoever else I may have missed) for working on the new skin for us!

Okay, not to be totally negative about it, but I can't really say I like it, aesthetically or functionally.

First of all, '''''IT IS SO SLOW.''''' As soon as I started using roundedblue, everything became slower, and by a very large amount. I'm pretty sure it taking at least fifteen seconds for even "Random page" to produce something. I didn't have this issue with Monobook.

The font seems to have changed as well, for the worse. I don't like how the text is now larger, bold now pops more/takes up more space than before, and headers of pages blend in way too much--plus, they just look too subtle. One thing to be fixed is to revert the fonttype to the Monobook form. Also, the tabs in infoboxes seem to be affected as well; the only indicator of the selected tab is an outline, which I find far inferior to the previous box outline.

And is it just me, or are the headers seemingly oversized too (especially the [edit] text)?

Furthermore, the tabs above that say edit, discussion, move, and so forth aren't even connected to the article, and float awkwardly. Then, when you hover over them, the tab itself disappears--that just simply looks bad, as though something is wrong. Similarly, in the top bar, the microscope looks rather atrocious, all pixelated. Is it possible to maybe extract an image used by another wiki using a microscope? I'm not very fond of the placement of our logo either--it doesn't do it much justice to have our big TVA image to the right, and then have our actual logo that links back to the wiki in the very corner of the page, looking very diminished. I'm not sure if it would look any better centered, so it may be just be the banner art.

Now, the side bar is also an issue. I quite liked the expandable side bar we had on Monaco, pre-Oasis. I thought that we were planning on retrieving this design for the new skin. As far as the boxes, they have no consistency in header font. The header font also, in my opinion, should be something more formal, and less playful--the latter of which pertains to its current state.

This is the big one for me: '''images'''. In all of the thumbnail images, a horrid white box surrounds the image, looking awkward, as though something is incorrectly sized or placed. And then, oh, the galleries. I weep for them in this skin. All the images now have TWO boxes surrounding them--one as before, another surrounding the direct borders of the image. As if this wasn't bad enough, hovering over them will sometimes produce a blue line that dashes through the image.

Summary: DoorToNothing found a lot of problems. Like, really, a lot.</Azul>

Also, whatever happened to those plans of kicking the BBS theme to the curb and doing the impossible!? That's right, a full series theme, combining elements of the entire series. I was thinking our logo trio could be Sora, Donald, and Goofy or Sora, Roxas, and Ventus. Actually, we had a very large forum about these plans, but I don't remember where it is.}}

This way the skin can become really good, so it can be shared with the rest of the internet. for RoxasNobody: those white box thing is because they're not transparent yet, someone should make them transparent. And I'm willing to help if I have the time.

As for my concerns, I only have three that's not mentioned yet.
*The "Toolbox" and "Navigation" has some white traces left, and the "interaction" hasn't made transparent yet. I know removing those white spots isn't easy, so I suggest we thickened the white color to make it look something like the blue-ish border on the word "Kingdom Hearts" on the logo.
*According to Crono, the current logo is "on top" of the prototype logo, causing upper-left corner of the prototype logo to be seen behind the current logo, it should be fixed.
*Are those edit buttons and supposed to have rounded, bottom-right corners? If yes, then transparency should be made.

The most recent code is [[User:SilverCrono/roundedblue.css]]. I would recommend keeping updated with both it and Recent Changes/your Watchlist so that you can see if I fixed your request. And.... fack, I should have made Lego make a S/R/K logo. I'm so retarded... *facepalm*

I'm not sure how to tweak the Sitenotice, and please remember, guys - I'm just a regular user right now, I can't edit MediaWiki pages. Even as a mod, that will be impossible for me. I'll try and do the best I can, though, so please have faith.

EDIT 11:35, 21 February 2011 (EST): And for the SRK theme, instead of doing a starry sky theme like it is now, how about a Destiny Islands theme?  I personally would love it to look like Destiny Islands at sunset, but that probably won't be possible.

EDIT 13:16, 21 February 2011 (EST): I really like the new prototype header, although using a chalkboard theme makes the wiki feel more fan-based, which is what the other wiki is for, and I'm not sure I love the color.  If you want to do the drawing thing, you could make it look like the drawings in the cave on Destiny Islands, which might be pretty cool.}}

Oh, and I saw the new headers Erry posted, and I like them.  ''However'': the white text would only be visible on the header (which is where the "search" text is presumably going, replacing the pixelated magnifying glass).  Unless you change the color of the sidebar, you won't be able to read any of the headers.  Will this be changed?

EDIT 20:17, 23 February 2011 (EST): Now that the new Sorikairi skin is up, I'd like to add some suggestions:

#:The backdrop, although creative, is admittedly a bit boring.  Instead of feeling like a background themed after Sora, Riku, and Kairi, it feels like a backdrop for the entire series they just happen to be on.  Also, the image of Sora is very grainy.
#The logo could use some adjustments.  I don't really like the artwork for Riku and Kairi, and the white backdrop makes it feel drab and unappealing.  The color does not match anything else in the skin either.
#The front page is now yellow, which, although designed to match Riku, is hard to read and does not show up anywhere else in the skin. I suggest either changing it to blue or adding yellow elsewhere in the skin (maybe the borders?).
#This is just me being nitpicky, but the "search" button is hard to read compared to the "go", button, as the letters are too close to each other.  The "toolbox" header also has different shading from the other two.

Other than that, and any other complaints that haven't been addressed, I think the new skin is fine.  I do have to ask: should we use the KHI Or KHII designs for Sora, Riku, and Kairi?  I personally vote for KH1, as they are more classic and reflect the series better as a whole, even if I do like the KHII designs better.}}

#The page interaction tabs overlap the sitenotice.
#Could you make said tabs not turn completely transparent when hovered over?  The tips of the letters are lost in the background.

*The magnifying glass is now a nice Kingdom Hearts...heart.
