Alright, guys. We're starting to get more info trickling in on Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. As rumors become facts, especially regarding some of the more major plot points, I'm thinking we're going to need to start marking for spoilers in the relevant articles soon. So, let's dust off those Spoiler Templates...

Why now, so early? Well, two reasons: first, we won't have to go back and re-mark everything the closer we get to the release date. Better to do it now when we have 20 articles than later when we have 200. Second, there are some of us who don't want to be too spoiled too soon. I know it's probably going to be inevitable for the other admins and myself, but I'd like to minimize it as much as I can for those who want to be surprised while playing through the game.

So, keep an eye on the announcements; one of us will update that and the front page when we go through with this.

Any other thoughts or ideas? BebopKate 02:47, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Keyblade-Blk.png I actually saw something really cool in the spoiler template on the FFWiki. It has a click-able that reads Skip section. When you click on it, it brings the page's top to the Spoilerend template. If we're willing to go around the Wiki implementing the {{spoilerend}} template, should we implement this on the KHWiki?

Funny, I was looking at that too yesterday. I say yes, it'll be an easier way for people to get through spoiler heavy sections.

Keyblade-Blk.png So, I'll start making sure that Spoilerends are on all of the pages with Spoiler templates. I would love some help if anyone wants to help! Then, we can implement the "Skip section." I'll leave a message here when I'm done.

EDIT: Done! I checked on all of the pages that were on the Spoiler template's "What links here." By the way, I noticed that we must have a lot of articles that don't have the Spoiler template, whereas they need them. I only had to do about 20 articles for this template, that's it. Now, for the Days spoiler template. Done with the Days spoilers too! We're all set for the Skip section. I'll add tha myself too, I guess.

After noticing and clicking on the 'skip section' thing I noticed that it's not working for me, is it working in everyone else's browser? *eyes firefox*

I think the problem is that the "skip section" part links to, for example Secion#spoilerend, now this would work if 'spoilerend' was a subheader like the 'abilities', 'story' or 'trivia' but it's not. I'm not sure how we can fix it though =/

You can make invisible anchors that don't require a header, like in regular html. That's how the spoilerend template is supposed to work. I forget exactly how to code it, so you'd have to check ffwiki's spoilerend template.

HUZZAH! I think it works now, with the super additon of the Template:A thing from the FF wiki. It works for everyone else or just me?

Naminé's Notebook KHII.png Are you sure you used The roxas page? It said Ninja sheik was the latest.

Eh... I think you just did not understand what I meant... Go to the Roxas page and click on the "skip this section" part of the spoiler tab, it should take you to the "spoilerend" tab. --YerMom is feeling jolly 22:29, September 14, 2009 (UTC)
