Hello one and all! As you may or may not have noticed we haven't had a podcast in over half a year! That's quite a long time! This is mainly due to the lack of time for both Nezzy and myself to record and edit the audios. While we can't make any promises on consistency, it would be of great help if someone were to take over as the podcast editor. Ever since UnknownChaser left the podcast, Nezzy has taken over the position, and he no longer is able to do so. So we're putting out a request for someone to step up and take the responsibility.
Responsibilities would include:
- search the audio sent by Neumannz, myself, and any other guests we may have for any background noises or mistakes in the podcasts that need to be fixed
- putting together the 2+ sound files sent by each user to make them flow consistently
- adding background music to the podcast that isn't too loud, but is still audible to the listeners.
- upload it to Youtube
Additional things that aren't required, but would still be nice if you could do:
- creating an image for the actual video (this can be done by Chain if needed)
- create text/a graphic that moves with the audio (like a sound wave)
- be able to record a warning introduction (this can be done by Chain or Nezzy if needed)
- Add an outro video for credits and previous videos
- "Preview Squares" for this page. (similar to these for the magazine).
Rewards for taking the job:
- Credit in the actual video
- Responsibility cookies baked by Chainoffire himself
- The feeling of accomplishing something
- Our eternal gratitude
If you have the skills required, we sure could use your help! While we prefer to keep this an "inside-wiki job", we'll extend the invitation to outsiders if needed.

I can do most of these things, but not the sound wave. I don't have a visualiser plugin on my copy of FL Studio, which is strange -- because I ought to have ZGameEditor Visualiser by this point. However, I can do moving text / screen capture a PowerPoint in the same way I did my lyrics videos, except of course make them more dynamic etc -- just need to know what I can use to screen capture.
In the way of background music, what would you all like? Stick with Shimomura's stuff, or?

@Byz: This is only for the editing position, this isn't a guaranteed spot in the actual podcast itself. However, guests and the like can be dealt with once we have a video editor.
@Trois: We typically stick with Shimomura's stuff, but I know how you are with music, so if you wanted to create an opening theme song or any background music, we'd definitely be open to it! We're always looking for more room to improve! The sound wave is optional, so if you're not able to do that, it's no big issue.
@both: I'll talk to Nezzy and get back with you folks as to our decision.
