I am proposing a new forum. This forum would serve as a centralized hub for game notes and data. Many times I wish I had some piece of information or other from a game I don't have, and I have to rely on others for that info. This forum would serve the following purposes:
- A location to place requests for various bits of information from games (stuff like menu lists, in-game descriptions, ability effects, etc.)
- A centralized board to put game-related notes instead of putting them into The World that Never was, likely to be forgotten later
- A place where users can list what games or guides they have at their disposal
Since often enough we have only a handful of users who want to make major content edits to articles, this is a good way for more users to get involved and lend a hand. While this is partly redundant to talk pages, having a centralized location for notes would be a big plus.
(Regarding a name, I point out that not only is the name "Jiminy's Journal" current open, but we also have "D Report" and all variations of the Secret Reports we can name it after.)

This sounds extremly useful, although I don't see how the third point would play out. "Hello I'm ShardofTruth and I have this and that, please bug me about it";-) I think a list with games/guides/etc. and who has them would be more helpful.

I completely support this. Marvelous idea!
However, may I make a suggestion? Since this is a more official forum that is literally directly intertwined with information being presented in the mainspace, I think forum thread names should have a specific format ("template"), or a naming scheme, similar in manner to that of the Heartless Manufactory.

I love this idea, I've had problems in editing that concerns lack of data before. Also, I would like to ask, can we put non-canon notes such as information gained from mangas or novels?

As DTN and I discussed on the IRC, the proposed format would be as follows:
There will be two main types of threads in the Forum.
- Threads for requests and responses. They will have the naming scheme "Request ##, [Summary, Parsed] - Username", where "Username" will be for the editor posting the request. (E.g.: "Request 413, [MM Miracles Stats] - Gamzee")
- When a response is posted, an admin will rename it as "Request ##, [Summary, Parsed] - Username: ANSWERED"
- If a response is independently verified by a user (which is not required, but would be nice), an admin will rename it as "Request ##, [Summary, Parsed] - Username: ANSWERED, VERIFIED"
- Threads for (non-requested) notes. They will have the naming scheme "Notes ##, [Summary, Parsed] - Username", where "Username" will be for the editor posting the notes.
Any miscellaneous threads that fall into this forum will be named as needed, such as the game-and-guide listings and the mandatory introductory thread.

Regarding the name for the forum:
- I suggested above using "D Report" or one of the variants of Secret Reports
- DTN suggested "Ansem's Computer" which would quite possibly come with a Space Paranoids-esque theme

I like Ansem's Computer, mainly because the forum's purpose is to hold data. Datascape is also an option (IMO, of course), but yeah. I like Ansem's Computer better.

I'd suggest Ansem's Study, but that's almost synonymous to Ansem's Computer. Either name would work.

Hm?
Usally, the pictures used in the other forums come from worlds that's connected to the main storyline, and Space Paranoids did have an "important" part in the main plot for KHII. If Ansem's Study is used, then the logo has more important pics; if Ansem's Computer is used, then it would mainly be the computer room and Space Paranoids itself. The latter should be used, since I'd like to see at least one Disney-baised world have a major part with this, but it's up to you.
