TheFifteenthMember Yes. You're creepy. I can't say we'll miss you while you're gone, so it'd be best if you did go. We all win that way. TheFifteenthMember 14:31, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
Now that the Re:coded pages are complete, I was going to focus on the KH3D articles but I can't find my copy of 3D 3:

So instead, I am turning my attention to key items. I started a list of key items draft and I think that when we should divide the list and have a list per game (similar to abilities). We also need to figure out the granularity of which key items deserve their own page. For now, I'm dealing with the KH ones so please feedback on what you think about the following items:

  • Slides: I think they can get their own page since there's information on locations, a potential gallery of each slide's projection and a story section with Sora claiming Radiant Garden is "familiar".
  • Forget-Me-Not & Jack in the Box: Create a page on the "Artificial heart" that contains a story section and a possible "Effects" section detailing the heart's benefits and negative outcomes. The two ingredients can be merged into the lead or listed under an "Ingredients" section.
  • Emblem Piece: Get its own page. They appeared in Kingdom Hearts and Re:coded so there's enough detail on their locations.

Once I've finished KH, I'll talk about KHII.

OPXion4EverIcon.png What you have listed sounds fine to me.

I have a new idea. The artificial heart should be merged into the Heart page by adding an "Artificial Heart" sub-section under "Construction", emphasising on how many how tried but failed to create a heart. The two ingredients can either be merged with the artificial heart, using anchors for the redirects, but that means we won't be able to include the descriptions. Thus, I think we should instead have the ingredients under a separate article titled "Dr. Finkelstein's ingredients" that uses an infobox, similar to the Old Book. Thoughts?

Also, can someone clarify for me that there is only one Navi-G Piece? I think that needs its own shared page with Navi-Gummi because at the moment they're on the Gummi Blocks page, where it doesn't really fit.

There are four Navi-G pieces. I do not remember where they all are, but I believe one is found after Wonderland. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 16:48, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

Should we:
  • Split Munny and Munny Pouch into two separate articles.
  • Merge the Present and Decoy Presents together?
  • Restructure the Summon Items article (at the moment, it's quite messy so is there any way of improving it?)
  • Split the three Proofs from the three Crowns?
Munny+Munny Pouch was use mainly as filler, I believe. Or to explain how munny played a [minor] role in the story at one point in time. To me, having a separate article for Munny Pouch and linking back to on Munny sounds fine. Present and Decoy Presents pertain to something from Halloween Town, right? If they are both for the same thing, I'm up for the merge. Summon Items: I'm not entirely sure. A massive item infobox for each item or game? Sorry... Crown and Proofs go hand in hand, so I say we keep them together. Xion4ever 21:26, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
From what I remember, the "Present" was stolen by a Heartless and the "Decoy Present" was what Sora used to lure out the thief. They're not the same thing but they are connected so I'm fine with having either a merged page or two separate pages. Could we split Summon Items into "Summon Items (KH)" and "Summon Items (KHII)" and format them into two continuous-prose articles rather than a list (we'd be able to have a neat infobox...)? TheFifteenthMember 01:18, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

To me, I think the presents should stay on the same page. The article describes the subject which is the present. There are two "variations" of the term present: Present and Decoy Present. Kinda like the Old Book and Torn Pages, they aren't the same, but they are a part of each other [connected]. The presents are not technically the same, but are similar. Was there any difference between the two other than their purpose of existence? Seek others opinions though, I'm not entirely sure on this. Splitting the summon items into two seems fine. Xion4ever 01:42, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

Yeah, I prefer keepings the presents on one page too. Also, the summon item pages could alternatively be called "Summon Gem(s)" and "Summon Charm(s)", what do you think (note my uncertainty with the plural)? TheFifteenthMember 02:00, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
Initially I was up for separating the two pages, but the title of the current page [Summon Items] has me rethinking that...The page "Summon Items" is meant to describe the summoning items- be it charms/gems/whatever. Since the title is lacking any specifics, it can be assumed that this page is to hold everything about summoning items, regardless of what game. If we want to ignore that title and go with individual game coverage pages, then I'm leaning towards Summon Gem and Summon Charm. However, I'm starting to think we should keep all of this on the same page. However, this doesn't solve the visual clean up the page needs. I still don't have a solution to that other than to create an item infobox table for each game. Xion4ever 03:11, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
The charms operate differently to the gems, though. The gems literally hold the essence of the summon's soul; the gems are the summons after their worlds had been destroyed. However, the charms seem to just symbolise their summons and give the holder the ability to transport the summon to them. Even so, you're right that splitting the two pages doesn't help the visual appeal but I don't think we should suggest a strong connection between the two different types of summon items, because they operate differently. The only thing they have in common is that they're items and they summon (already mentioned on the Summon page). Besides, smaller lists are always more manageable than larger ones. TheFifteenthMember 12:05, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
Hmmm...Wasn't this also the reason summon cards were removed from the page? If so, then we might as well follow suit for gems and charms. Xion4ever 13:22, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

Ok, I've taken care of the Present and Decoy Present pages. I'm a little iffy on the stories, I can't remember exactly how the story played out, other than the stealing of the Present leads to the creation of the Decoy Present to lure the Experiment out. That's it; that's all I remember. (Gotta find a way to play Kingdom Hearts II again...) Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.pngKeybladeSpyMaster Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.png 02:17, 26 September 2014 (UTC)

The latest project that I'm working on is fixing all the Key Items, one of the issues present in Project Items. What we need to do is create pages for each key item, using the Emblem Piece article as an example. When appropriate, we should merge multiple key items together into one informative article (see "Cinderella's dress" for an example). We must also create lists for each game; I'm working on a draft here. Look below to find things to do!

Here's an overall to do list; feel free to get involved!

Alright! Here's an updated to do list:

I archived our old discussions since we've already dealt with all the issues that came up there. Now, I want to focus on the few remaining issues. We still need some clarification on what exactly Navi-Gummi is and what exactly Navi-G Piece is, so if someone can explain that to me, it'd be great. I can't write the story sections for the KH2 and KH3D items since it's been a while since I've played those games, but 2.5 will refresh my memory so after that, I should be able to write the KH2 sections. Also, the recipes seem like a work in progress. If I remember correctly, ANX was going to start something and I might make my own table soon.

The main thing that we need to discuss now is lists. I made a draft ages ago but it needs some revision before it becomes used. Firstly, we need to decide whether a list is even necessary in the first place. Then, we should figure out whether one list is sufficient or if we want to split it by game (similar to ability lists). Feedback?

To clarify the Navi-G: The four Navi-G Pieces appear in different worlds, and collecting them allows you expand the number of accessible worlds after giving them to Cid, in sets of two, I think. The Navi-Gummi appears during the last visit to Traverse Town (the scene with Kairi in the waterway), and it allows you to return to Hollow Bastion for the second visit. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 08:26, 19 October 2014 (UTC)

Okay, thanks. I remember that one Navi-G Piece is obtained in Deep Jungle with Terk. Any ideas about the rest? TheFifteenthMember 13:35, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
Navi-G Pieces are all obtained after sealing Keyholes, actually: In Wonderland, Deep Jungle, Traverse Town and Neverland. The Gummi Block dropped by Terk is actually one of Protect Gummi type (you can see when you reunite with Donald and Goofy in Tent).109.173.173.78 13:53, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the information. The last clue to solve is when they're installed in the Gummi Ship. Are they installed in twos as NZ said or can you go back to Cid and install a new piece after you get each one? TheFifteenthMember 13:58, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
In pairs. Pairs are Wonderland-Deep Jungle and Traverse Town-Neverland, of course.--109.173.173.78 14:22, 19 October 2014 (UTC)

TheSilentHero Ah well. Can't all be heroes. — 14:33, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
After getting the piece from Traverse Town, Sora shows it to Cid, who tells him they come in sets and he needs to find the other one. Also, I think 2 Navi-G Pieces make one Navi-Gummi, so maybe the pages should be merged.

That's clear now. Thanks a lot! The pages should be merged anyway since they are both gummi blocks that unlocks a new route to a world. Since they run on the same principle, it's clear that they are made from the same material. TheFifteenthMember 14:46, 19 October 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for you input guys! I created the Navi-Gummi page. Now that's sorted, what are your opinions on creating lists?

TheSilentHero Prepare yourself! — 06:22, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
Personally, I really like lists. I think your draft could use some images, though. And I don't think you should put all the KH3D recipes on the page. I know they are Key Items, but they will be listed on the Recipe page.

Hmm, I don't see how we could work images into a list without it looking sloppy. The only thing that I can think of is adding Icon Material KH.png to the top of the KH section, since that icon represents key items. About including recipes, I guess we could just mention at the top of the game section, "Aside from Recipes..." or something of the sort. We just need something to acknowledge that recipes are key items. Same goes for synthesis materials (which we haven't included in the table).

Are the columns that I have in place now appropriate? Should I add, remove or change any? Other than that, if I revise the list to fix errors and mistakes, it should be ready quite soon.

TheSilentHero — 18:15, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
You could add galleries under the tables for the games that have images. I think the columns look good. Also, I noticed a small mistake in your draft. In the Notes column for the items for Alice's Trial, it says that you need three pieces to continue the plot, but you can continue whenever you want.

I don't think the galleries are a good idea; the images will already be on the respective item pages anyway. The galleries might just take up unnecessary space. Thanks for highlighting that error for me. There are a couple of those so I'll be changing them. TheFifteenthMember 18:28, 21 October 2014 (UTC)

I corrected the list. The only two issues with it are there are some missing nihongos and the three Proofs in KH2 have no descriptions, but that's because there's not been an English release yet so the descriptions can only be translations. Should we wait for 2.5 to come out and fix that problem or release the list now? TheFifteenthMember 21:26, 24 October 2014 (UTC)

To clarify something I saw in Navi-Gummi article and in the table: Navi-Gummi isn't received from Cid; he tells you to go to the Secret Waterway where he hid it, and you get it from approaching the mural.109.173.173.78 21:52, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the correction. TheFifteenthMember 21:54, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
