Official?Edit

Is this render official? I can't find a source for it, and the pose is kinda weird as well. TheSilentHero 12:53, 11 November 2023 (UTC)

I believe it was posed by Dark-EnigmaXIII. Didn't they as well as IZerox pose a lot of renders 10 years ago? - Joseph Thorn Dalton XCV  (talk) 13:02, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
I guess, though it isn't used on their Museum of Renders page. It does raise the question what to do with characters that don't have official renders. Do we use unofficial ones like this, or do we choose not to have an image at all. For example, File:Maleficent's Raven KHBBS.png is also unofficial, but it is used on several pages. And if we do decide to use unofficial renders, what pose do we put them in, because this pose just looks weird. TheSilentHero 13:13, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
Hasn't our unofficial policy been to use fan-posed renders where there aren't any? I much prefer that over not having an image at all. It also showcases the fans and the community's efforts to create (if that's a virtue we care about, though I can see that not being too important on a wiki). As far as how they should be posed is kinda down to who's able to perform such a task. The current Young Xehanort Destiny Island render was posed by myself with the use of the MikuMikuDance software, and I was only able to do that thanks these individuals, MayBeePah, Kazuki9484, and HakuMizuki, and X-CodeHQ, already having made it possible to both load and rig Young Xehanort within the MMD software. The current Master Xehanort (Black Coat) was also posed by myself with the use of Noesis which I found to be crazy difficult thus the very stiff render. I agree that the current render for the Prince (as well as the renders for Grand Duke and Drizella) looks weird, but I think our only options at the moment are T-poses or those, unless we find someone who can do a better job at posing them. (I certainly can't). - Joseph Thorn Dalton XCV  (talk) 18:20, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
