Xion is revived by Master Xehanort as a member of the true Organization XIII. In the final Battle, Xion and Saix are tasked by Xemnas to battle Lea and Kairi. Sora arrives on the scene, aiding Kairi and Lea in their battle. | |||
Xemnas appears, interrupting the battle. Lea tries to fight back, but Xemnas breaks his Keyblade and fatally wounds him with his Etheral Blades. Having grown tired of Lea's past betrayals, Xemnas raises his blade to execute him. Xion stops him, grabbing his Etheral Blades with her own hand. Xemnas questions whether she is changing sides again, to which she reminds him they need Lea alive to create the X-Blade. Xemnas says they only need his heart intact, not his soul to complete the X-Blade. Remembering the friendship between the two, Xemnas commands Xion to kill Lea. As Xion raises her Keyblade, Lea asks for her name. Xion begins to hesitate, which leads Sora to walk up to her and asks her not to do it. Xion responds by attacking Sora, who blocks her attacks with her Keyblade. He tells her that she can stop now, , saying her name. Xion drops her Keyblade, and begins to cry. Xemnas, seeing her lose control once more, deems her useless once more and kicks her into Sora. Xion's hood finally comes off, revealing her face to everyone. Lea's memory of her return, and he tries to stop Xemnas from executing her. Xemnas sneers at Lea's foolish attempt, and prepares to strike Xion down until a something lands in front of Xion. The figure reveals itself as Roxas, having regained his body from a replica that Zexion had ready for him. Roxas explains that the last thing he needed to be reborn was a connection. After Xemnas abducts Kairi, Xion tells Lea to rest. She intends to take Kairi's place as a protector of light, just as Roxas will take Lea's place. She then joins Roxas and Sora in their fight with Saix. | |||
After defeating Saix, Lea tells Sora to go after Kairi. Once Sora leaves, Lea ponders what to do now. Xion begins to break down crying, overjoyed that she is reunited with Roxas and Lea. After he makes a quick quip about forgetting to bring ice cream, Lea wraps his arms around Roxas and Xion in a group hug. | |||
After Master Xehanort completes the X-Blade by seemingly killing Kairi, Xion and the others regroup with Sora to keep the portal to Kingdom Hearts shut. Before Sora goes after Master Xehanort, Xion tells him that Kairi will be alright. | |||
Xion is later seen joining Lea and Roxas on the Watchtower at Twilight Town, sporting a black dress. The trio are soon joined by Isa, Hayner, Pence, and Olette. They all enjoy watching the sunset while eating the ice cream that Isa brought them. On Destiny Islands, Xion is seen with Naminé collecting seashells. | |||
