 The trailer opens with the lines, ''"And the door that opens to this world."'' and ''"A forbidden secret."''
-The video show that Jiminy in Disney Castle explained he wrote 2 journals the contents said "Thank Namine" which already been fulfilled but there’s another line and it said "We must return to free them from their torment." and Jiminy wonder aloud have we carried it out yet? Sora wonders around in Traverse Town and meets Cid. He met a Black Coated man saying "Show me your power". Then it shows some game play. Then the next scene is shown Sora seeing King Mickey in Traverse Town he said on Sora's first journey began in Traverse Town the king also said he was here at the same time and he's going to tell him the truth. The next scene Sora, Donald, and Goofy put their hand together and it shows Pluto going inside a Corridor of Darkness. The next scene shows Riku and a lifeless Kairi in Neverland and Riku try to reach the moon with his hand. In Disney Castle Jiminy, King Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are discussing about something and Jiminy jumps in surprise and they both see a message saying "Their torment has been lessened."

The pages are flipped through to a new page, bearing the line, "We must return to free them from their torment," and Jiminy wonders aloud if that duty has been carried out. He rushes the journal over to The King who says he doesn't recall that sentence either. He then exclaims that Sora is the only one qualified to solve the mystery. The next scene is shown in Traverse Town with Pluto waking up Sora. Sora leaves the alley and meets Cid. He encounters someone in a [[Black Coat]] asking Sora to show him his power. Sora encounters the King holding his [[Star Seeker]] out to the side. He tells Sora that he was there at the same time, and that the truth must be told. A scene is replayed from ''[[Kingdom Hearts (game)|Kingdom Hearts]]'', with Sora, Donald and Goofy putting their hands together, and Pluto running into a Corridor of Darkness. The scene shifts to [[Neverland]] with Riku pretending to grab the moon, then looking back at a lifeless Kairi. The scene returns to Disney Castle's library, where the journal now reads, "Their torment has been lessened."
