Kairi alongside Mickey and Riku are being informed by Yen Sid about his intentions to protect the other 6 princesses as well as, bring back Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. She then listens to Yen Sid explaining the fate of the three missing keyblade wielders as well as, Mickey's story on when he encountered her in the Realm of Darkness. | |||
After listening to Mickey's story, she watches a frustrated Riku ask why Mickey never told them about what happened. Mickey explains that he kept everything a secret in respect for Aqua and her choice. Yen Sid then explains to Riku that nobody at the time had the power of making it to the Realm of Darkness and saving Aqua, and how it would have been safer to not tell anyone, seeing as how either Sora or Riku would have made a reckless attempt to save her. Kairi then sees Riku's eagerness to save Aqua and notes that she is seeing a completely new side of Riku, comparing him to Sora. Kairi then tells Yen Side the reason she came to the tower is because she wanted to help in some way. Yen Side tells Kairi that she will undergo keyblade training under the guidance of Merlin and the 3 good fairies alongside Lea. She is at first confused at who Lea is until Mickey explains he is the somebody form of Axel. She gives a scared expression showing concern until both Mickey and Riku explain how he saved Sora and is completely trustworthy. Soon Kairi leaves along with Riku and Mickey to start her keyblade training. | |||
