Aqua: Difference between revisions

Realizing that the Castle of Dreams has been swallowed by the darkness, Aqua roams the Realm of Darkness to uncover the source behind the strange occurrences. Furthermore, she also notices that time does not pass in the Realm of Darkness, and therefore does not know what is happening in the Realm of Light.{{storylink|Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-}}

Once she reaches the Castle of Dreams, she finds an illusion of Terra. Aqua continues her trek through the darkness, seeing Dwarf Woodlands has fallen into darkness. After seeing an illusion of Ventus, she is pulled into the realm of the [[Magic Mirror]] by a phantom copy of herself. After defeating her copy, Aqua manages to break out the mirror's realm. Upon finding herself in a thorn-filled area of [[Enchanted Dominion]], Aqua follows after illusions of Ventus and Terra. To her surprise, Terra talks with her, vaguely explaining that he is [[Xemnas|no]] [[Ansem, Seeker of Darkness|longer himself]]. Aqua almost tell Terra where she put Ventus to rest, but Xehanort takes over Terra, determined [[Real Organization XIII|to find Ventus for his plans.]] The struggle between Terra and Xehanort calls a [[Darkside]], which pulls Aqua into darkness again.

Seemingly tired of her long journey and the effect of the state her friends and the worlds were in, she decides to become one with the darkness. To her surprise, Aqua meets Mickey, who informs her that it's been ten years since they last met and that the worlds are in danger from the [[Heartless]]. They manage to find [[Kingdom Key D]] on the remains of [[Destiny Island]], where Aqua learns that Riku and Sora have been working to save the worlds. She attempts to help them seal the [[Door to Darkness]], but a swarm of Shadows keeps her at bay. Once the worlds restore themselves following the sealing of the Door to Darkness, Aqua remains in the dark realm, ready to be the guiding light for other lost souls.
